UNLV fans got some good news today with Mike Moser announcing he’ll be returning to school for his Junior Year. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/apr/01/breaking-mike-moser-will-return-unlv-his-junior-se/ I think he made the right choice in returning to school considering he along with the rest of his team kind of faded near the end of the season.

Also, I’m pretty excited to see what UNLV can do next season. He along with Anthony Marshall and Justin Hawkins are returning (both of whom are seniors next year). They’re also getting a pair of potential impact transfers in McDonald’s All-American Khem Birch, and USC transfer Bryce Jones (4-star by both rivals and ESPN). Lastly, they can have a very good recruiting class if Anthony Bennett decides to go there. Nonetheless, they still have Katin Reinhardt, who’s a top 50 recruit by ESPN who should produce his freshman year.

Personally, I think this is the MWC favorite (it’s close between them and SDSU) in light of Moser returning, and I think if Bennett decides to go to UNLV this could be a Sweet 16 team. What are your thoughts on Moser returning and the UNLV team?

Moser needed to return to improve in stock so that was smart, if they get Bennett they will be very dangerous downlow.

I’m just so offended-I’m not sure if it’s official or not but there have been reports saying that Shabazz is down to UCLA, Duke, and Kentcuky. So UNLV is pretty much out of the running for him. Even though I’m not a fan of UNLV, I thought it would have bern cool to see him and Bennett going there and bringing back the Runnin’ Rebs.
