Huge! He brings everything that we lacked in one package. He will re-kindle the TJ Ford/Jose Calderon days of having the best pg tandem (although the Bulls might argue with that). He has leadership, shot creating skills, defence and toughness. Now our bench has a shot creator, and many of the dry spells we saw last year will not occur.
What do you think?
Also, did anyone else notice that Bosh looks like he is getting a lot bigger. check out the 3rd part of the interview with jack signing, and see if you think he is getting rocked up.
i can't tell if bosh is getting bigger or his hair is. hahaha.
though i do agree with you it may re-kindle the ford/calderon like pg tandem. i don't know jack's game well enough to make a good assessment of that but jack is a lot better than depending on solomon or ukic to take the point. or even worse, banks. ahah. either way, this is huge for the raptors because they had no backup pg, but hopefully this won't exactly replicate the ford/calderon thing and one of them gets jealous. well they'll have to play together for the rest of their contracts if they don't get traded so they'll have to learn to get along. haha. the only thing i can say for sure is that jack will provide a good amount of bench scoring if he's coming off the bench.
this move will also help in keeping bosh, because bosh and jack played ball together in college and are good friends, so colangelo is making toronto feel a lil more comfortable for him, great idea
yeah, and because of how the economy is right now, everyone's saying the cap is going to be lowered so they're saying the knicks would only be able to afford one of the superstars that are going to be available. that being said, bosh wanting to play with wade probably won't happen unless the team doing the deal to get both is willing to pay the tax.
