Xavier Henry
I dont know how he will do with the team concept issue at Kansas, but I see him having a Marvin Williams effect on the team. I see him coming out the bench and averaging about 12 points a game in about 20-25 minutes a game.
im not sure hes good enough for one and done..ive watched a couple of his games and noticed his first step is pretty slow..he is a very good shooter but he sometimes goes cold and the lack of first step hurts him when that happenes
Xavier is a great young talent that will provide a valuable offensive spark for the Jayhawks, but i'm not sure you've seen KU play very much the last couple years. Sherron Collins is by far the best scorer on the team, he still needs work on his shot selection, but that is improved greatly over the past couple years. Xavier in my opinion will be the 3rd or 4th leading scorer on the Jayhawks this season, with Collins 1 Aldrich 2 and Tyshawn Taylor or Marcus Morris possibly edging Henry out for 3rd. Henry has the upside to be a one and done player, but i don't think he is going to put up monster numbers for a stacked KU team. In my opinion he would benefit from staying at least two years in college, Brandon Rush was supposed to be one and done too, but ended up staying 3 and went 13 in the 2008 draft, which is higher than he would have gone after his freshman or sophmore seasons, I think Henry is in a similar boat.
I think he is a great talent. Because of the added weight and the injuries from the car accident his stock really dropped. But GM's will see how good he is when the season starts. Kansas is going back to the final four.
yeah he is a very good player..the thing with him even before the injuries was he was more mature physcially and skill wise then the other players in his class and then some caught up which is why he dropped just a lil. wolf makes a great point about him being similar to rush because they ae except that rush had a quicker first step better d and was more athletic. he might be one and done but it would be a very big mistake he would benifit from 3 years

Who thinks he will buy into the team concept at Kansas? The way he has come off over the last few months many think he may be to selfish to play at Kansas. Also who thinks he is capable of being a legit one-and-done?
