NFL Fantasy News/Rumors
I think Josh McDaniel has a LOT to do with Orton looking so good... and a LOT to do with why Brady has looked so bad (or average) this year... Those Belicheck assistants learned from the master!@
Development from within has been one of the biggest keys to the Thunder’s success, so there’s a certain case to be made that standing pat and banking on their young team improving was the best move.
Dallas Mavericks – Missing out on the superstar sweepstakes this summer didn’t help the media perception of the Mavs. Per usual, Dallas isn’t a trendy pick to do much in the stacked Western Conference heading into the season but the talent assembled on this team would beg to differ.
“(Beal) allowed guys to kind of dictate to him defensively with shoving and pushing and guys are going to try and do that,” Wittman said. “If they find out what kind of player you are, they are going to get into you. They are going to push you, hold you and do those things and until he got (expletive) off there at the end about it, he kind of just accepted it. He has to make sure he doesn’t allow those things to happen.”

Kyle Boller will be the new QB for the Rams probably for the rest of the season. Bulger is out for at least a couple weeks. Rams WRs are lacking so Boller probably won't put up any worthy fantasy numbers. Low end fantasy backup.
Chad Henne will be the new QB for the Dolphins probably for the rest of the season. Thigmen could take over at some point if Henne struggles. Henne could be valuable in our league. He has a stronger arm than Pennington which could result in some deep TD passes to Ted Ginn.
Kerry Collins could be in danger of losing his job if the Titans continue to lose. Vince Youngs' last chance?
Laurent Robinson is out for the season. This means Donnie Avery could have a huge rest of the year if he himself can manage to stay healthy.
Vernon Davis is ballin. He could finally be a factor in fantasy football. Looks to be a top 10 tight end at the moment.
Kolb has been playing great for the Eagles. He is throwing for a ton of yards. Even when McNabb gets healthy there could be a bit of a QB controversy brewing. Especially if Kolb keeps winning.
Delhomme is in danger of losing his job. Not sure who would take over for him.
Marshwan Lynch is back this week but he likely won't get many carries. Fred Jackson has played well & will continue to get the majority of the carries. I see Lynch getting around 10 carries a week while Jackson gets 15 or so.
Jets Defense looks very impressive. They are solid at all levels defensive line, linebackers, & secondary. Plus Calvin Pace returns week 5 which will give that group of linebackers a boost.
LTs fantasy value has dropped tremendously. Even when he does get healthy he will never get the workload he once did. Sproles will still get a bunch of carries. Tomlinson looks to be a solid backup RB in our league now.
Browns could have a battle at RB going for the starting job. Lewis can't stay healthy. Harrison did a pretty good job against the Ravens. James Davis remains the wildcard.
Jamarcus Russell could also be in danger of losing his job. He has looked absolutely pathetic thus far.
Brandon Marshall appears to have changed his attitude. If he is now focused which he claims then he should be a top 15 WR. Orton is proving to be a pretty solid QB.
