Will Tmac be forced
I think Iverson was forced out mainly because of his demands and requirements
He need 30+ minutes a game
He needed the ball in his hands
He needed to be the primary scorer
and He needed to start
McGrady comes with his own demands, but not to the degree of Iversons
they both still have plenty of talent, though
TMac should go back to Orlando. They are a legit title contender that wouldnt have to rely on him but he could help them with big shots and bench scoring. I think he would be better on a team that he wasnt asked to do alot.
Everyone is acting like Houston is going to buy him out. I really don't see that happening no matter how bad things get because even if he's not the same player he could go to another team and give them depth. Even if he cannot do everything he used to, at the worst he can still shoot. I'm sure a lot of teams would like a guy his size that can shoot and handle the ball. If Houston wasn't a playoff team, then I could see this being a more likely scenario. So as far as I am concerned Houston holds McGrady's fate for at least this year.
Tracy McGrady’s tenure with the Rockets, which began with predictions of multiple championships and "great things happening in the City of Houston," is likely over. The Rockets and McGrady came to a "mutual agreement" Monday to seek to trade McGrady, a person with the Rockets with knowledge of talks between McGrady’s representatives and general manager Daryl Morey said. Will tmac be forced out of the league like Allen Iverson almost was? Tmac do yourself a favor, come to the Lakers and add depth to the bench.
