Zach Randolph SHOULD get mentioned as a TOP 10 possible MVP Candidate?
I think he needs to make the All Star team but MVP may be a bit too much.
He should be in the top ten I think but you can't say that he is more important to the team then Mayo or Gay.
Gay and Mayo were on the team last year, weren't they? And what was Memphis' record?
It takes a team effort, but YES... Z-Bo is the best player on Memphis and their candidate for the All-Star game. He was a monster in December and is averaging 20 and 13 over his last 14 games. He's brought leadership, consistency and is actually playing defense. I don't know about the MVP talk, but let's give the man his due.
i was gonna make that same argument but then i though about how i could say the same thing about a couple of players around the leauge. if it was zbo and mayo last year and then you add gay this year then we could say that about gay. the clippers have a better record this year with out zach and okc has a better record with harden. rockets . not really sure what there record was at this time with yao. with that said i cant really argue if zach is considered there best player because this isnt liek a fluke or the first year hes done things like this
you cant just say zbo is the only reason they are doing better and are winning more this year. Players get better by playing together and young players develop and learn. Yes, Randolph is a key component to there winning, but he is not the MVP
why are people disagreeing with what i said when the guy right below me said the same thing.
If you take either mayo or gay away from the Grizz they are the same as last year, dont' act like Z-bo is far better than them. i'm not saying z-bo is bad but he simple isn't better than mayo or gay, he is close but not better.
Not MVP, he should be Top-10 if they keep this up the whole year....but Def. an All-Star.
It's crazy! The West is stacked at PF!!!
D.West, Duncan, Dirk, Scola, Landry, Aldridge, Zach, Pau, Love/Jefferson, Boozer, and J.J Thompson.
& last year you could've had Amare in that mix, OH WAIT. C. Frye is their Center so I guess add him to, but I think he's on the ballot as a Center. & next year throw in Blake Griffin.
rickyrubio..u mentioning landry as an allstar?!!!! come on now!!!!! are u his agent's son? some guys are only good with certain teams....that system has him lookin good...his basketball IQ is too low for him to be more then a role player..but give dude his props..he has worked hard and turned himself into a legit nba player..but not an allstar..at least not yet
I disagree with you 100%... Landry is the real deal. If he was getting minutes like a Boozer, Randolph, etc... He'd be putting up close to the same numbers. They don't call him "He-Man" for nothing.
I am guilty for saying Randolph would blow this team up into pieces when they acquired him. I always viewed him as a black hole, but the man has been "balling" this season. Should be in the all-star game...

I know he's not as talented as teammates Gay & Mayo..And I know he's not going to win MVP..Heck he wont finish in the top 5 voting..But honestly..Do you think Memphis would be winning if they didn't have him? Memphis has 2 of the most exciting young players in the game in Rudy Gay & O.J. Mayo..Some said they could'nt play together. But Gay & Mayo have helped make Memphis 1 of the NBA's most talked about teams..Both will soon be AllStars..Center Marc Gasol has shocked the league by becoming 1 of the best big men in the game..And he's also a vocal leader....But its Z-BO who has been their most important player...Give GM Chris Wallace some props...His trade of Pau Gasol wasn't a good move..But he saw something in Z-BO & Gasol that other teams didnt..He tried to trade for Randolph before Portland sent him to New York...And everyone laughed when Pau got traded for his younger brother Marc..While Z-BO''s not the most athletic guy..He uses his wide frame to box out bigger & taller opponents for rebounds...He's been a nightly double-double for the past few years..Whutever his problems were in the past..He seems to have put them all behind him...And has been a solid citizen for the Grizzlies..Even doing work in the community...Randolph has improved his passing & has a better outside shot than he did in the past...He wont win MVP..But the coaches should vote him to be an AllStar
