yeah hope is good but some peopel on here say things like its a sure thing and its gonna happen and anyone who doesnt agree with them must be haters. see theres a difference. then you have those who arent very realistic. im a lakers fan and i could say we are gonna get this or that guy and trade for this or that guy but i take into account that other teams may want this guy or i can afford that guy and how things dont always play out how we want and rarely play out perfectly so i look at things from a realistic stand point

first of all... the team doesnt renounce his rights the player does.... second of all if he chooses to not play in NY due to not enough money im sure new york would accomodate him with a sign and trade so he can keep them...
