Louisville is making a BIG run right now....That full-court press is working and they're making shots all of a sudden.

If cal does get by louisville, it will be intersting to see cal's jamal boykin going against his former duke teammates.

Louisville's guards make FAR too many silly passes...Sosa tries all kinds of retarded passes and Siva makes alot of silly mistakes because he's too inexperienced. I'd be shocked if Louisville wins now. Cal is finishing too well at the rim and shooting too well from the perimeter.

So where all the pac 10 haters at now? Im not even talking about anyone on this site. I just mean all the "experts" who even the week before the tournament were talking about the pac 10 was a terrible conference and unfortunaltely the committe would have to send one of those horrible teams. Yes, someone actually said that exact statement on espn.

With Round 2 coming up what does everyone think tomorrow's upsets will be?? I think the possibilities are as follows;

St. Mary's over Villanova
Murray State over Butler
Washington over New Mexico

i think villanova and butler both win. I like washington over new mexico, but that is an upset based on seed only.

Some possible upsets i see happening are:

GTech over Ohio St.
Cornell over Wisconsin

St Mary's over Villanova is very possible. I think the game will center around Sanham.

I like Butler over Murray State.

Washington over New Mexico is another game that I'll watch, hoping that New Mexico can somehow pull off the win for bracket purposes. I forgot how good the Huskies are.

Murray State vs. Butler is going to be a very good game. I want to see Murray State win (sorry Tezo) I got brackets hoping for Butler to lose.

I only missed 3 games yesterday....

Look for GA Tech over Ohio State ( I think Evan Turner could have trouble beating an elite defender like D'Andre Bell, and with Derrick Favors or Lawal rotating from the weakside he could have a tough shooting game.) That's my only upset for round 2..

Hey mikenike, just look for the channel that turns a 40 minute game into a 2 hour contest with 8 media and 10 team timeouts per game. That channel will have a total 18 timeouts, which comes to approximately 1 timeout every 2 minutes.

It should be a good game, but I have Butler beating Murray State. They're actually a better matchup for Butler than Utep was. I think Butler's defense, execution and shooting will put them on top.

Butler got hot in that 2nd half against UTEP..I had Murray State beating UTEP to get to the Sweet 16 at 1st but changed it..

I'm not expecting too many upsets today though

I have Tech advancing. Crazy huh? I think Favors and Lawal on the weakside rotations could give Turner and the rest of OSU's slashers some trouble. Iman Shumpert matches up very well with Turner as well. Alot of the advantages Tech had against OK State they could have against Ohio State.

I like how Maryland played yesterday. Drake did step up.lol. My mom said the same thing about him looking like Drake. haha. I have them advantaging past Michigan State. Especially if Williams has a carbon copy of what he did last night.

Samhan is automatic against them. Villanova has had trouble stopping big men every time I watch them. Maalik Wayns is a good prospect for them 3 years from now. He's very similar to Ty Lawson. I think Villanova should think aboiut switching to a zone to throw them off and to kinda offset Samhan's effect. Maybe it's too late though?

How could Butler beat anybody when they're incapable of grabbing rebounds? At halftime, Murray State out rebounded Butler 2 to 1.

Villanova has killed the South part of my bracket.

Gordan Hayward is not that impressive. I picked Murray State to go to the Sweet 16 in my bracket before my revisions, so I'm going to need Butler to win so I don't feel bad about myself LOL.

Hayward isn't being aggressive enough offensively. I like his activity on the defensive end and glass though.

I expect them to win this game though.

Yea he has made some plays on D, forced a few travels and altering some shots with his length. He's got a better motor than most would think on the glass as well.

I think Butler should take this game too....Murray St. has bad flow in their half-court sets.

Good defensive play by Hayward to seal the victory. #3 from Murray State will remember that turnover for the rest of his life. Tough loss. I've been saying all season that Butler would be in the Sweet 16 though!

15 seconds and you dont even get a shot off? Tough way to end your season. Butler is a vry solid team. i dont know if hayward will be very good in the pro's or not, but i agree with tezo in that the morrison comparison is terrible. Totally different players outside of being white.

Northern Iowa matches up well with KU, but I expect KU to win this one. Too much athleticism and mismatch opportunities. They just need to make some perimeter shots to take the pressure off Aldrich and the twins.

tough loss for Murray St but huge win for St Mary's

washington and new mexico are going back and forth. Washington is getting all the inside looks they want, i think they only hit one shot further then 15 feet so far.
