Wesley finally declared.
It's good lots of people on this forum are saying Syracuse will be fine because they will be. Kris Joseph is a more than capable successor to Wes at the SF position; in fact, for a long stretch when Wes was hurt, Joseph outscored him almost every game, became a fan favorite, and even when Wes was healthy, Joseph was still a formidable offensive weapon. This also allows the Orange to be even more unselfish than they were last year, because nobody on this team will ever really "demand" the ball, meaning they will almost always take high percentage shots. And of course, they have a tremendous recruiting class incoming, with Waiters assisting in taking on Wes' scoring load and Fab Melo adding even more length to the zone. As a 22-year old junior universally known as a lock to be a top 10 pick, Wes made the right decision, and while he gave Cuse fans some indelible memories, his departure isn't as devastating as when most first team All-Americans leave for the NBA.

Good for him, bad for us.
