Is this the same Wilcox who gained national exsposure from Juna Dixon great play-making? So much in fact, that the Clippers underservedly drafted him in the lottery. He is a big-time underachiever. Call it like it is.
He was supposed to be the second coming of McDyess, not replace him on the bench.
Well, he's still in the league, but I salivated for a whole lot more.

I don't think he's a bad player, he's just not quite been in the best situations. I would really like to see him on a team that does a lot of running. He was with one in NY, but I think he was wanted more because his contract expired. It's hard to beat getting a quality big for 3 million a year.
will those people who hate me please make yourselft known. Above I posted a simple comment about his stats in 2008 and how he has some talent. Why did people give me negative points for that? I don't care about points normally but I noticed that and almost every single one of my posts is givin negative points. Even ones that don't really mean anything. The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a two-year deal with free agent Chris Wilcox, a source told ESPN.com.

The deal is for $6 million over the next two years according to sources.
Wilcox was signed as a replacement for Antonio McDyess, who left the team via free agency to sign with the Spurs.
Wilcox is an athletic big who, at 26, still has some upside. However, he's coming off one of the worst seasons of his career.
The previous three years, Wilcox averaged a little more than 13 points, but his numbers dipped to 7.2 per game last season in time split between the Thunder and Knicks.
The Pistons are hoping Wilcox can provide some scoring and athleticism off the bench behind another free agent signing, Charlie Villanueva.
