I'm out.
I heard ESPNs pays everyone 6 figures, even there damn janitor..
Big Business
But good luck to ya
I am very happy but I love gettin on this site. Aran has done a great job with this. Kudos to everyone!
I know I don't post that much but I always read whatever anyone has to say. I usually don't post unless I have something good to say. Just want to say congratulations and good luck at your job. And for the long run, it is nuisance not, newsance. You're the editor! Congratulations and good luck again.
Thanks alot guys! Hope yall end up readin some of the stuff I will be Involved with!
Haha...I'm spoiled to Microsoft Word. Thanks again!
I sure will man. By the way, I wont forget my roots. I will still check in all the time, I just wont have an active account. Keep your post very interesting and look for some of your arguements on SportsCenter. Who knows, that could be an idea or a topic inspired by you. Keep at it Quentin, you definatly know your stuff. More than I do. I just got a lucky brake. Some tips. Try to be in the right place at the right time and dont say anything online that could be used against you later. Trust me, if someone can find it, they will.
Jaredpaul what is your real name? I wanna know which stuff is yours when you writing for the big time man.
Unfortunatly, Im sitting with my agent right now and he tells me not to tell. Sry guys. I may have mentioned it in an older post but its not Jared. This is my cousins account that i kind of stole.
Maybe in an article you should like mention your roots so we can figure out it's you! That would be cool, just something haha.
Haha...thats exactly what I said when they told me I was a front runner for the job. But apparently there are all kinds of legal issues and contracts that have to be worked out. Its just like a player, I sign a contract for a X number of years and we discuss my pay. Its very confusing. But this is probably my last post so, Thanks again to everyone on the site, and remember, look on ESPN for the mention of the site and some topics.
Good luck man, we'll miss you on this site
Only time will tell if there is a shout in the articles by some new guy then hey it was all real and if not it is what it is.
Great news, you will be getting paid for doing sports analysis, nothing to complain about. Congrats!
Poeple, making typos on a NBA draft site is different than making typos on the job. It is not like someone will get fired for misspelling words or making typos on an internet site. Besides, I'll bet than people have made the occasional post after the bar, and have had frequent typos as a result. This is not a usual situation one finds themselves in while working (hopefully).
Still it would be great to have an ESPN insider on Draftnet (jokes).
not a high chance this is true... lol. can't spell, and no, companies don't do business on Sundays, especially not for editors that don't know how to spell.
espn couldn't care less if you post on the site as long as you don't say you work for ESPN. lol
But if not , then awesome for him. But I don't know him anymore then I know any of you guys. And as a person who went to college for 4 years as an english major, I have no problems with spelling errors on the internet. But newsance is'nt even close to a spelling error, that is just flat out wrong. And that kind of spelling probably does'nt translate to being an editor for espn.
Hard to believe him with the misspelled words. Doesn't everyone have a spell check running as you type your messages/comments on this site? My misspelled words are always underlined in red and it takes one second to correct a misspelled word. I'm asking because I'm unsure if that feature is available on everyone's computer or not.
Anyways, like Sheltwon said, it will just be a matter of time to see if he gives the site a shout out.
proof read my comment before I post it.
my other thought is, if this is his 'cousin's' account like he said earlier, than he shouldn't have to 'shut it down' lol. that's the point of the internet, you get an alias and no one really knows what/who you are. to think that espn would track down all their employees to make sure they aren't posting on the internet seems farfetched...
on sum real $hit i think this guy is lying. i mean 1st of all ive had sum conversations with him and he didnt seem all that bright 2 be given a job by espn. hell ive heard sum of yall make valid points against him. 2nd of all why the hell would the agent of a so called EDITOR tell him not 2 give out his real name? isnt the point of goin 2 espn to raise ur exposure and show ur knowledge of basketball? i mean i bet staurt scott wasnt goin around saying i cant give u my real name becuz i dont want u 2 kno me on espn. wat the hell? and last but not least u guys have already pointed it out. the editor cant spell

Hey guys. Unfortunatly I am going to have to leave the site due to a job. I just recieved a phone call telling me that I have been hired to be an editor for ESPN!! That is good and bad news. Supposedly they will check the major sites for my profile. I could be fined and even lose my position for having a profile. I hope wasn't a newsance and provided some quality conversations. Thanks all.
