Syracuse forward Kris Joseph, the leading scorer for the fourth-ranked Orange, is not traveling to Pittsburgh today for Monday night's game with the No. 5 Panthers, Syracuse spokesman Pete Moore said Sunday afternoon.

Joseph, averaging 14.6 points a game, fell and hit the back of his head on a drive with 6:27 left in the first half during Saturday's win against Cincinnati and did not return. He scored only two points. Sophomore forward James Southerland had eight points off the bench to help take up the slack.

The Orange (18-0, 5-0 Big East) are one of four unbeaten teams left in the nation. Pitt (17-1, 5-0) has beaten Syracuse four times in a row and in 12 of the last 15 meetings. The school has not released details of the injury.
