Real clutch time is the final 2 minutes IMO. That is when Kobe really seperates himself from not only LeBron, but the rest of the league.

i dont know about stats, but every gm in the league has listed kobe as the guy they want with the ball in their hands at the end of a game for years now. Even in the olympics when they played together, it was kobe taking and hitting the big shots in the last few minutes with gold on the line.

well numbers are nice but don’t tell the whole story. Pau makes plays in the clutch which will hurt kobe’s clutch numbers. Who is going to make a play for the cavs besides lebron? Don’t get me wrong i love lebron and he is a great closer but this doesn’t prove the case.

yeah, they all did their thing to varying degrees. But the biggest two shots, one being a three pointer were hit by kobe.

true, on a side note why was that game close? they had AT LEAST the top 5 players in the world on one team. I remember jaun carlos navarro did the same floater about 3 times but pau didn’t do anything.

yeah, they actually sat pau a lot if i remember correctly. As for it being close, look at northern iowa beating kansas. If you have guys who play together and can hit shots and dont turn it over, you have a chance. Talent only gets you so far especially since a lot of those usa guys are accustomed to being the man and not playing off teammates.

I’m proud to see Evans and Landry both in the top 20 of that list.
