VES avenged a one-point loss 12 days ago by beating Carlisle 57-53 in the VIC Division One championship. Delante Jones had 20 points for VES. Aaron Young added 13. Thon Maker scored 13 for Carlisle.

Both teams will advance to next week's VISAA state quarterfinals.

North Cross beat Covenant 69-54 in the VIC Division 2 finals.
