2019 NBA Draft 2nd Year Standouts

In what was probably one of the more unconventional rookie seasons, the 2019 NBA Draft left us with a lot of uncertainty outside of Rookie of the Year Ja Morant and Zion Williamson in terms of future stars. Brandon Clarke had a strong rookie season, a lot of promise from some players on the All-Rookie 2nd team, and players like R.J. Barrett, DeAndre Hunter and Darius Garland all left off of the All-Rookie squad. This week at Viseland, we check in on how these players look as sophomores, with this draft starting to show a number of players that can be potentially valuable pieces.

What have you all thought of the sophomore class of NBA players this year? Any who you feel can join Zion and Ja as likely future All-Stars? We focused on 10 players, mentioned some others, but have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised by a lot of this sophomore class so far, wish we would have a Rising Stars challenge this year. If we had it, what would the rosters look like? Not sure a US versus the World would work this season, so just give your rookie and 2nd year players who you feel would make the game. Or, if you still want to go by the US/World format, that would be cool also, just so unfortunate that Killian Hayes looks like he may be out for the season.
