Probably two of the NBA’s most solid drafts featuring several NBA ALL-STARS, NBA MVPS, AND FINALS MVPS. I chose the two teams and how I would arrange the starting lineups and rotations,

Which team would you take in a 7 Game SERIES??

    1996 NBA Draft Class:

    PG- Stephon Marbury
    SG- Kobe Bryant
    SF- Peja Stojavich
    PF- Jermaine O’Neal
    C- Marcus Camby

    2nd Team/6th Men:

    Steve Nash
    Allen Iverson
    Ray Allen
    Antoine Walker
    Shareef-Abdur Rahim

    Reserves:

    Z.Ilgauskas
    Lorenzen Wright

    2003 NBA Draft Class:

PG- LeBron James (just for the fun and sake of versatilility…lol)
    SG- Dwayne Wade
    SF- Carmelo Anthony
    PF- Chris Bosh
    C- Kendrick Perkins

    2nd Team/6th Men:

    TJ Ford
    Josh Howard
    Mikael Pietrus
    David West
    Chris Kaman

    Reserves:

    Luke Walton
    Kyle Korver
    Darko Milicic
    Kirk HInrich
    Boris Diaw

I would take 2003. And it’s not even close.

if you are going by in their prime, then I would take ’96. Peja was once a top 5 candidate for mvp. Marbury was a superstar, Abdur Rahim was an all-star. Jermaine O’neal was an olympian and one of the top bigs in the league. Walker, Allen, and Camby were all all stars. And Kobe, Nash, and Iverson were all MVP’s. You should also consider Kerry Kittles for the bench, he was a terrific starting sg for many years.

I think the 03 team really only has 3 maybe 4 stars on that team. As u have it u have steve nash and allen iverson coming off the bench. in my opinion that sa hell of a bench with those 2 alone

It was pretty even until i look at the bench for 96. Much better than 2003 bench.

Just look at the 96 roster, every player with the exception of Lorenzen Wright and Big Z have been all stars. So in their prime 96 would dominate.

2003 because all those dominant players. if u put lebron at the PG position he’s ALOT better than Marbury. They have the advantage at the 2. Kobe is the best in the league hands down. Dwyane isnt there yet.Melo is better than peja he cant even stay healthy.its hard to decide at the 4.they have the advantage at the 5 slightly to me. perkins is prolly stronger and more physical than Camby but Camby got Defensive player of the year.he can block shots and rebound.perkins really only rebounds cause he can muscle ppl.

I forgot to mention each player at their best, I can’t say PRIME because the ’03 draft class hasn’t reached that yet. You must admit though, at their best is as good as PRIME still.

THAT 1996 DRAFT HAS THE MORE DEPTH THAN ANY IN LEAGUE HISTORY….I THINK 12 OF THE GUYS CHOSEN IN THE 1st ROUND HAVE PLAYED IN AN ALL STAR GAME..CAMBY HASN’T YET..BUT HE SHOULD’VE BEEN CHOSEN

I’m taking 96′ Marbury when he was younger was a killer up and down the court. A-I in his prime off the bench come on its over.

As cold as Marbury was there is NO WAY he’d start over Iverson.

Yeah him and A-I did go at but A-I was just a step of ahead. Take Lorezn Wright off and add Peja to that reserve list. People are forgetting Ben Wallace was undrafted that was his year also.

PG Nash (someone has to pass! lol)
SG Allen (need someone to space the floor, nash driving him shooting? c’mon)
SF Kobe Bryant (his post game & vison/passing from the high post? Ugly)
PF Jermaine O’neal (His baseline J ala Ewing deadline at its best)
C Marcus Camby (the dirty work guy, shor blocker who doesn’t need the ball to be effective

Your second unit of Marbury & Iverson (wouldnt work? see the all-star game a few years back when they together won that game for the east)
Peja @ the (3), pre-back issues hitting EVERYTHING from downtown?
Point forward ‘toine @ the (4)
Abdur Rahim (6’10) at the center. Whose second team could run & gun w/ those guys.

    Kittles for depth UGLY
