Russell0WestbrookParticipantMany people compare Jennings to either Iverson or Kenny Anderson which are decent I think he will NEVER come close to Iverson tho. The guy he plays like to me is Nick-The-Quick Van Exel. They are both lefties very quick and streaky shooters while struggling to finish at the rim although they are athletic. Let me know what you guys think

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI never liked the Iverson comparisons, they are clearly leaps and bounds apart…Jennings game is very much like Van Exel right now, he could become a better version of The Quick though, his passing and ball handling are much better than Van Exel’s was at this stage…

NJHooper95ParticipantVan Excel is a decent comparison, but he remind me more of Kevin Braswell from Georgetown. Braswell was suppose to be the next Iverson.. Jennings had a disappointing season. He is not a elite guard like people think. He is very weak physically, bad finisher, and streaky shooter. Not to mention the system he plays in is not suited for him. I was a big Jennings fan, but watching him play some nights was tough. He has ability, but if he doesnt commit to the weight room, and or get traded, then he will be mediocre.
Some people will say Iverson was small, yes, but Jennings doesnt have the Heart or Will of Iverson.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI like the Bucks a lot but I never really felt like Jennings was the right guy for their coach/system…interesting to see how he develops the next two years, he could be a player that leaves after his rookie deal…

surveParticipantIverson was Elite scorer, something I think Jennings is not. I will agree he is a comparison between Anderson and Van Exel.

Wavy BagelsParticipantI strongly believe the Iverson comparisons arised when Jennings had that career high 55 point game last season.

Moon RiverParticipantBut I digress. Jennings reminds me of a goggled quick lefty out of Memphis, Elliot Perry. They had a similar build and were lightening quick. I don’t think Perry had the offensive fire power of Jennings, but if you mesh Van Exel and Perry, I think you have Jennings.

omphalosParticipantIsn’t it crazy to think Jennings has a higher career high than Durant or Rose. Madness.

festar35ParticipantKevin Brasswell is out here in NZ playing for the New Zealand Breakers. Although we play a lot different style of basketball in New Zealand I can definately see similarities between Jennings and Brasswell (very streaky shooter but glad he is over here)
