knicksfan7ParticipantI have been wondering this for a while, and would like to know if anyone on here knows around how much it would cost to operate an AAU team. I am talking everything players, uniforms, gym time, hotel fees, food, tournament fees, etc etc. Thanks everyone. Post links if there are any out there. Thanks all.

knicksfan7ParticipantYeah that just talks about membership, which doesn’t help me. I am trying to figure out between gym time, travel fees, hotel fees, etc.

ChewyParticipantyour looking at 5-7 thousand for a regional run. 15-20 thousand for a national run.

knicksfan7ParticipantIf I have say 12 players then on the national scale that is anywhere from $1,500-1,750 per player. Wow that’s a lot, I expected the national run to be like 10-12 grand.

MBRHParticipantif your just trying to have a local team maybe a few thousand would do. If you win games teams will invite you to there tournaments and let you play for free/reduced price. All the big teams are sponsored by Nike and Adidas who give them money to travel.
