First of all, I know there may not be many and I know the obvious answer is Lebron.  The player I find it easiest to do with is Josh Smith.  On 8 min quarters he always gets double figure boards…getting him the assists with JJ, Crawford, and Horford in the lineup with him is easy, and scoring in double figures, even easier.

Josh Smith is somewhat of a triple double threat in real life too. He’s quietly been one of the very best passing PF’s in the NBA over the past 3 seasons or so, and he is good for 15 ppg and is a good enough rebounder to get you 10 boards.

yeah, but its hard to get 10 steals every game, I mean with Josh I can get a triple EVERY game if I want.  also, speaking of Josh in real life as opposed to the game…in the game I usually get about 3 steals and 2 or 3 blocks with him….he does this in real life as well.  When talked about as a player that can do it all, we all think of LBJ.  Josh can do it ALL.

I think Rondo (pts, rbs, asts, stls) is the best player to play with on 2k if you want to get a quadrouple….it would be him or Dwight Howard (pts, rbs, asts, blks).

I play on 12 minute quarters and put the sliders so it makes the stats like a real NBA game. The best I got w/ Dwight so far is 72 points, 33 boards, and 16 blocks.

I’ve gotten a few triple doubles with John Wall and Eric Gordon. I almost got a quadruple double with John Wall. I took a picture of it on my phone I’ve gotten some with LeBron also. My myplayer gets triple doubles fairly easy too, and it’s a SF.

I even took pictures of it, haha… I play on 10 min quarters btw.

Obviously 72 33 and 16 isn’t realistic. That’s when I play on Rookie for a fun game. I mean the team stats are realistic usually 100 points, 50 rebounds, realistic FG%. Obviously when I get 33 boards and 16 blocks I put it on easy. But still my team will only get like 120 points. On superstar it is realistic and a challenge.

^^^ no I dont play HOF, but I will start soon.   I get triples with Josh easy, but with the ball in his hands so much he turns over a lot, I get like 6 tpg with him usually.  LO used to be one of my favorite players on the game because he is easy to get triples, he was my fav triple double guy before I started playing with the Hawks.

I doubt anybody has really used him, but Rodney Stuckey has to be one of the best rebounding guards in 2K, I remember him getting 6 boards in the 1st quarter one game. Everytime I play with Pistons he is crashing boards harder than I see some PF’s and C’s. I haven’t ever gotten a triple double with him but he can the way he crashes the boards because lets face it if you can get 10 boards with any player you can get a triple double.

Yeah I noticed that Rodney Stuckey is a beast in the game too. I got him in a trade on one of my associations, and I was surprised of how good he plays in game. He’s almost as easy to play with as Wall is for me.

And hell naw, I don’t play on HOF. I’d prefer to play against real human competition over biased computer AI.

I find it easiest with Durant. He rebounds well, scores like nothing, and he has good players around him to get assists.

Hall fame is more difficult for me to play against than a human nowadays 9 times out of 10. Not to mention feels like when i play aginst  people, usually all they wanna do is live and die by the 3. I absolutely can’t stand that. But I definitely like to set around with some frineds drinkin and having tournaments and stuff ike that though.

BTW, anyone play mY Player and create 6ft7 PG? That’s usually what I do and make his play style as athletic. SUPER easy to get triple doubles like that.

LMAO!! It’s insane because you can literally come out and get a triple double the very first game. I’ve never made it past 6 games into my second season though because my gf moved my 2k on 360 and scratched it so I’ve had to start over on PS3. I think I’m like 25 games in with a couple so far. Maybe 3. But the near triple doubles seem to come almost every other game. Since I play on the Knicks, I’ve actually found it harder to get the 3×2 with the assists than rebounds oddly enough.

How have you guys done in My Player mode, just curious. I am 30 games into my first season, and I am 2 guard averaging 25 points for the Wiz, and I’ve scored 40 in 5 of the 12 games I’ve started. I got an endorsement with Jordan, got my billboard, am allowed to call plays. John Wall is barely playing at this point, playing 9 minutes per 48 minutes.

My first year on 360 I got a shoe deal. My number was 8 and initials are M.E. Thus I called my shoe the

    Jordan M.E. Luminous8

I thikn I averaged something like 22 points 8 rbs and 6..5 assists. I was on the Pistons and beat LAL in the finals(Kobe didn’t play). In the offseason I got mysef traded to LAL and made it through like 6 or 7 games and like I said had to start a new one on PS3 because of a scratch on the disc. Im now 20 sum games in and am averaging like 14 pts 6rbs and 8 assists. I’m on the Knicks w.o. MElo and let me tell you, they are horrible. Felton got moved t the 2 and the only person worth a damn is Turiaf. Stoudamire hardly even attacks off of my pick and rolls. My guy turns the ball over more than he should though because my ball protection and handle aren’t that high yet. My passing is like an 80 somthething though.

I remember back in the day when I used to play NBA Live, 72, 33, and 16 was very easy to accomplish even if on the most difficult level. There comes a point where you get so used to the games reactions and how each player will naturally respond to each move that you can basically do whatever you want, score when you want, predict a block, rebound, or whatever. Thats why I stopped playing I felt like it was a waste of my time unless I was playing online, or multiplayer.

Detroit is a favorite team of mine to play with and Stuckey is my best all around player, he is an extremely good ball handler and passer in the game, easy to make assists with him and not many turnovers.  True, he is a good rebounder and his mid-range jumper makes it easy for him to score.
