This BS from NBA about he is "growing" is all NBA BS hype and marketing. And any claims from the Bucks or Giannis that he is "growing" are pure BS.

He was measured at 6’10" with a 7’4" wingspan 18 months ago by his club Filathlitikos in Greece.

He was measured by the Greek national team and FIBA officially at 6’10" last summer before he ever was in the NBA.

They also weighed him at 210 pounds, so he didn’t weigh 190 pounds when he came to the NBA, like the Bucks claimed either.

Finally, he isn’t 6’11". Notice how the Bucks don’t actually say he is 6’11", they say he is ALMOST 6’11", meaning he is NOT actually 6’11", but is actually 6’10". The SAME height he was 18 months ago, when Filathlitikos was measuring him at that height.

NBA only fans are like an absolute COMEDY.

I thought the similar things with Paul George. The marketing spin and fans kept saying he grew to 6’10 when he was the same height and like 21 years old too.

If you saw Paul George standing next to LeBron in the ECF, he was about the same height. There’s no way he’s 6’10”

If you play the game NBA2k14 the commentators when you play as the Pacers make a big deal about him saying he grew to 6’10 and could grow up to 7ft when its all said and done. Its not like PG isn’t over 21yrs old.

Milwakee’s FO want to promote that he is 6’11", the Bucks strength and conditioning coach measured him and weighed him and listed him at 6’10 1/2" and 222 or227(not sure) but the GM is the one that said he was 6’11".

Heights in all sports are to be taken with a grain of salt. I met Prince Fielder who is listed at 5’11. He was 5’9 tops.

Giannis himself said he had grown from 6’9" to over 6’10" since he had been drafted.

Filathlikos and FIBA both measured him at 6-10 (FIBA one is OFFICIALLY measured by FIBA authorities) well BEFORE any NBA team ever measured him ever, including the Bucks.

Unless you wan us to believe that he was 6-10, then he shrunk an inch over summer, then he maically grew back that inch upon arrival at Bucs training camp.

Giannis is saying whatever the Bucks management tells him to say

Who cares if he’s 6’10" or 6’11" his skill set at that size and athleticism is basically unmatched by anyone in the NBA. I’m almost more excited that he’s putting on weight, that way he can absorb contact driving to the hoop and be a more effective post defender if he’s needed at the 4

Who cares… You think his team in Greece wouldn’t lie to help his draft stock??? When he was draft the Bucks measured him at 6’9" and 190 lbs… I saw video of his recent workouts and you can clearly see he has put on some muscle…

No the Bucks did NOT measure him at 6-9 190. They LIED. They are LYING about it. It’s called NBA marketing. They are making it up genius.

Not only did his team in Greece measure him at 6-10 AND NOT LIE ABOUT IT,

Greek national team and FIBA (which officially measures the players) UNLIKE the Bucks or the NBA – he NEVER even went to the NBA for a workout or measurement before being drafted (GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT)

      measured him at 6-10.

      PROOF –

      http://www.fibaeurope.com/cid_KNce8jInH7Qj1EsyH5rjn2.playerID_99285.compID_UIfgjyQcGqk-fPlnl66Tj0.season_2013.roundID_9350.teamID_291.html

      2.08m = 6’10"

And as was reported dozens of times, he had NEVER EVER been to the USA before the draft, so NO, the Bucks DID NOT measure him before then.

      STOP LYING. PLEASE.

They are just making all of this nonsense up for some kind of stupid marketing reason.

You would think he would be happy after a Greek victory in the World Cup. Yet he continues to troll away with ignorance. Life must be the worst if all he has going for him is ranting on an NBA forum about how stupid and racist the NBA and their fans are.

Who in the f*ck cares if he’s 6’10” or 6’11”?
