SubZeroParticipantIf we’re going dunk contest type dunks, Javale McGee was pretty great. He got ripped in the contest a year ago. In game today, it’s definitely Blake.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantI like Shawn Kemp also. Dude had ridiculous hops. He was great at dunkin before he started dunkin donuts.

joecheck88ParticipantI fell in love with basketball watching Amare posterior guys his rookie year(Olowakandi anybody?). He is my choice. I know it’s easy to forget those years because of how he looks and plays now but Amare was getting it for about 6 years.

ivan138Participanthmm im fine with all your answers but my favorite dunker is stromile swift at PF-C , the way he destroyed tyrus thomas and idk how many players were doing 2 hand windmills in a game

Soulrebel15ParticipantToo bad he ate his way out the league.

McDunkinRobertas Javtokas (pre motorcycle accident) could have been somewhere on the list
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/21/2012 - 5:07pm #672388
SpacegrassParticipantThat is bad when you get dunked on and the guy you dunked on daps you up during the game.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/21/2012 - 5:46pm #672397
PulseGlazerParticipantJust going to throw Chocolate Thunder Daryl Dawkins on the list.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 05/21/2012 - 6:15pm #672414
mookieParticipantYo when a player from the other team gives you 5 after gettin dunked on (chris gatling), that says something about how great a dunker Kemp was. I’m have to agree with alot you and say him…remember, he coulldn’t even palm the ball!!!
Oh and 1 more thing…I f’in hate OKC….watchin the ReignMan…they shoulda never left Seattle.

WTF I’m BANNEDblake griffin will put together the sickest "dunk highlight" when is all set and done.

PulseGlazerParticipantBlake may, but a lot of that is that he exists in the youtube era.

CynthiaParticipantNo one’s mentioned Josh Smith? I know he’s kind of a hybrid forward, but regardless he’s 6’9 and typically plays PF.

JoeWolf1An end of the bench player, but Darvin Ham was a great in game dunker.
Kemp was a beast, though, it’s hard to argue his case.
If we’re talking center, I’d have to go Shaq. He was so huge and it wasn’t that his dunks were all that impressive, but most of his dunks were posterizing people. I’d bet over 50% of the dunks in his career were on one or two dudes.
