carter3ParticipantSo I have heard absolutely nothing on what Indiana plans to do with the 13th pick.
They have an allstar in Danny Granger who I see as a SF but many list him as a SG. Last year they netted them two good players in Roy Hibbert and Brandon Rush. They also have a few other solid players in Jeff Foster, Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Jarrett Jack, and TJ Ford. They don’t have any glaring needs and it will be interesting to see what happens with Jarrett Jack, Marquis Daniels, and Travis Diener this summer. As far as their pick goes, I see them taking the best player available but maybe someone can give me some more insight on what way they are leaning.
So… assuming Blake Griffin, Hasheem Thabeet, James Harden, Ricky Rubio, Jordan Hill, Tyreke Evans, Stephen Curry, Brandon Jennings, DeMar DeRozan, Jonny Flynn, DeJuan Blair, and Gerald Henderson are off the board; then what would Indiana do with the pick?

gatorheelsParticipantI know most people think this is crazy but I have a feeling Indiana is strongly considering drafting Austin Daye.

Johnny_HazeltineParticipantThere’s a strong possibility that Blair and Henderson will still be on the board when the Pacers pick, and there’s a slight possibility that DeRozan or Jennings could still be there, as well.
That being said, 82games.com says that the Pacers are their best when they go athletic. Their best lineup last season was Ford-Daniels-Granger-Murphy-Foster. Look for the Pacers to draft the best athlete available, regardless of position.
My guess is Jeff Teague.

torontoraptors10ParticipantI can see the Pacers choosing Gerald Henderson. I think he would be a solid back to Daniels, if not a replacement. He plays solid defense and he can be a scoring threat.

rose2dabullzParticipantThey will not take a swingman because of how well Brandon Rush played late in the season, and don’t forget Mike Dunleavy coming back from the dead as well..I see them taking either a pg or a Blair..I think Blair gives them added toughness that they lack, along with low post scoring, and will be a nice complement to Troy Murphy

ctw724ParticipantHe’s a hometown kid and a PG, why not draft him?
