gregoden08ParticipantWhat do you guys think of him? Does he have first round NBA potential? I like his game. He is extremely quick and has a deadly mid range game and floater. I actually think it would serve him better if he had a deadly outside shot…He is only 5,8-5,9. I actually do see the Nate Robinson comparisons…He’s just not quite the freak in terms of vertical.

sheltwon3ParticipantMaybe if he came out at a good time yeah but right now the NBA is stocking up on big point guards. he will have to be a niche player to get in the league at that height.

JNixonParticipantHe has 1st round talent, and I think he has instant offense ability in the NBA ala Nate Robinson or Will Bynum. Small, athletic guys with SG ability is proving to be effective more now than it used to be and I think he will be a very good NBA player for whoever chances on him..maybe a 15-19 ppg scorer.

gregoden08Participant15-19ppg? That’s a little extreme don’t you think? He’s still only 5,8.

JNixonParticipantHave you seen him play? His size does not limit him very much if at all on offense. He will be at least a 15 ppg scorer by about him 3rd year. Nate Robinson has none it, I dont see why Thomas cant.

gregoden08ParticipantI get all pac-10 games…I’ve seen him play. I just don’t think Isaiah is the quite the freak that Nate is plus he doesn’t have a deadly three point stroke yet which you need as a 5,8 pg who is more of a sg.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIs this him?
If thats him, he looks to have some game. IDK if it will translate to the NBA but I could definatly see him as a late first rounder.

MH2Participantshorter watered down version of Brandon Jennings. I think he can play in the league on the right team.

JNixonParticipantHis jumper is just as good as Nate’s, if Nate can get 17 ppg Isaiah Thomas can. He is an elite scorer, no matter how tall he is.

llperezIsiah is like a 5-8 clone of Iverson imo. He does not play like a typical pg. He want’s to score first. I truly think if he were 4 inches taller, he could be a top 5 pick next year. He is not only super quick at getting into the lane, but he has a lot of floaters and runners in his arsenal to get his shot off.
I think he will probably stay in school all 4 years and be drafted in the 20-30 range.

canesboy6ParticipantHe isn’t quite the scary athlete that Nate is, and Nate was a late first rounder. I think he can make it in the league, but I think he is too undersized for somebody to take a chance in the first round.

the_shamwow_guyParticipantJust as athletic as nate just as fast same skill set… can’t see why he shouldn’t be in the NBA

llperezThomas was the Pac 10 freshmen of the year last year and led the confrence champion Huskies in scoring. Despite his size, he had numerous games where he got whatever he wanted and took over. Why is him going in the 20-30 range too high? I think he could provide a spark off the bench. Damon Stoudemire was only 5-10 and he had a very good career.

BlazermannParticipanthe is player maybe off the bench ala nate

Kapwno24ParticipantMaybe first round in a week draft, has explosive ability to score and will need to make up for height with hustle, may work his way into a teams rotation some day. he could bring some energy off the bench

youngmagParticipantWatch his college game he plays complete different I mean this year he won’t be handling the rock as much since they picked up the second best pg from the 08 high school class(Adbul Gaddy) so you will see him scoring a lot more especially since Adbul passing skills is seriously good. Isiah will be a good nba pg I can see him being better than Nate off the fact the he has pure skill not all athleticism.
