Lotto StudParticipantIt has been said over numerous times that he has shot up in height & weight…Can someone please tell me what his exact measurement is now?
If by any chance Wall is 6’6″ now, IMO he would be the frontman to be that ideal PG in “size”(Shuan Livingston) who has it all besides a few minor things such as a J he can work on.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/30/2011 - 2:21pm #581765

WizardofOzParticipantFlip Saunders said a few months ago that he thinks he’s 6’5" now, and could top out at 6’6". He said that why he had some knee pain during the season. I’m not sure if I buy it though. They haevn’t done an official measurement for him since the combine, so no one knows for sure what his height is now.
He looks a lil taller to me in recent videos IMO. I’m not sure you should take my word for it though.

iguapops420ParticipantNo, an inch wont, but 2 is a more than adequate when you’re already tremendous athletically and tall for your position. He’ll b able to use his body more to get to the line perhaps becom a better scorer. Could definitely help increase his ability to see over the defense and use his tremendous passing ability to make his teammates better.

GrovesinternationalParticipantI’d like to see the nba do measurements and physical testing on players regularly (maybe yearly for younger players?)just to keep everything up to date. just like a combine. only the important things though (height for the younger guys, verticals, lateral quickness for the older guys)

ForTheWinParticipantNot very surprising, he’s only 20 and even though it may happen seldom, there’s nothing shocking to see him have a growth spurt. I hope it would only further his game, if it were to affect his game negatively that would really suck for him. I think the same thing happened to Dorell Wright and it hasn’t affected him, actually he’s gotten better each year.

aamir543ParticipantHopefully he can use this to his advantage. I just hope his growth pains don’t hinder him, cause being 6’1 and only 14, I know how much growth pains hurt.

ChrispyParticipantdon’t fully close until late teens or at latest early twenties. Anyone familiar with David Robinson knows that late growth does happen, with Robinson’s example serving as an extreme. He underwent a 4"-6" growth spurt after recruiting wrapped! That is part of the reason he ended up at Navy.

carefulParticipantThis makes me wonder about Dwight Howard. Everyone keeps saying that he’s 6’11 or 7’0 but I checked his measurements and he’s significantly shorter. Did he have a growth spurt after he came into the league?

WizardofOzParticipantI never hear people call him 7’0. People say he’s 6’11" because he measured out a 6’10.5" at the combine, and they always round out ytour height to the closest number. 6’10.5 rounded is 6’11". It’s possible he might have grown since then though.

WizardofOzParticipant^^He did. He said he’s up to 200-something now, but I forgfot the eaxct number. I tried to find the interview where he said it, but I can’t find it.
But on one of the videos recently posted on Wall, Jorrye said that it looks like he’s added 5-10 pounds, so I’ll take his word for it.

TheLastWordParticipantRegarding Howard, he has defenitely grown a full inch since being measured and is at least 6’11" in shoes. This photo show him very close to Bosh who measured 6’11" 1/2 in shoes. Notice his high shoulder level which gives him that excellent standing reach to dominate like he does.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantYeah it’s definitely possible…I’m 20 years old and just grew from 6’4 to 6’6"1/2 in the past 3 months.
& growing pains are definitely a b***h!

Lotto StudParticipant- NBA.com – John Wall 6’4” 195
- ESPN.com – John Wall 6’4” 195
Do they not update measurables?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 11:52am #620380
aamir543Participant^Probably not, cause they still list Lebron at 250 lbs, when he at one point was 270, and at training camp weighed in at 264, so no, they don’t update it.

Lotto StudParticipantSh*t is in the way! Everyone was raving about this new measurable that I still have no visual evidence of him shooting up in inches.
