DondiJohnParticipantConley over Dragic all day every day

Andrew1984ParticipantI debated this one for a while. Dragic scores more points but Conley is a better defender, has playoff experience, and is perhaps a bit tougher. Their assists and steals are about the same. I went with Dragic because I could not overlook the fact that he has shot over 50 percent from the field the last two years! That is insane for a PG! Conley has been under 45 percent every year but one.
Dragic is my preference, but it’s a toss-up.

Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantYea I thought about it & I agree. I think Conley could score as much as dragic of he wasn’t on the team with Randolph & gasol, also Conley is a all nba defender, so even if someone didn’t see it as them being equal offensively Conley is at least a level maybe 2 levels over dragic defensively.

ZachAttackParticipantWhat about Rodney Hood? I’d take him over Kostas bjeebeebee or Kent Bazemore for sure, and other guys as well.

BornaskulParticipantSF and centers are the weakest lefty positions it seems , especially if you count David Lee as more of a PF

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantInteresting because historically, center is far and away the deepest position for great left handers in NBA history. Bill Russell, David Robinson, Dave Cowens, Willis Reed, Artis Gilmore and Bob Lanier were all lefties and all 6 of them would probably rank in my top 15 centers of all time.
My all time lefty team would probably be:
PG: Nate Archibald
SG: Gail Goodrich
SF: Chris Mullin
PF: Willis Reed (played center for most of his career but was an All-NBA power forward in the late 60s when Walt Bellamy played center for the Knicks)
C: Bill Russell

Rip255To be fair..unless theres a definitive list of left handed players…this exercise is just too hard to do without excluding anyone.
As seen by the OP’s omissions.
Aka writing cheques his A$$ can’t cash.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantIf you go to Basketball-Reference, you can get a list of all of the left handed players who played in the NBA in any season. Here’s the list for 2014-15 sorted by PER.

Rip255lol You’re hardly lighting the forum on fire yourself.
If I had a dollar for every good thread you started this year…..and 5 cents for every bad thread you started this year…
I’d have $1.15

CynthiaParticipantHaha nice nod to Raef, I really liked him back in the day. Doesn’t look like he’s played for anyone since 2009 though. He retired from the NBA at around 33-34, so I’m surprised he didn’t at least give Europe a shot.
