It’s been frustrating to me that I can’t view the old pages of prospects who have been compared to some NBA Players… At least I remembered some guys who got compared to who and it’s probably an opportunity for some guys who just recently tuned in to this site to know who got compared to who…

Francisco Garcia to Reggie Miller is also a funny one lol….Even though they are similar in some ways..
And to answer your question, I think that Marvin Williams is comparable to Tim Thomas or possibly Caron Butler.

i always laugh when i see the josh smith vince carter with heart. vince has alot of heart just would give up to much. this is why people need to compare players to lower level nba players first or have a best worst case instead of saying every good hs or college player is comparable to a nba star cuz as we can see 75% or more never pan out that way

I’m glad you posted this because NBADraft.net dropped the ball on not allowing us to see old player profiles. It makes for great comedy for some (Stevenson is the epitome of that comment lol) or great evaluation for others (Magic/LeBron comparison is too accurate)

Back to that Stevenson to Micheal Jordan comparisions..Stevenson came out of high school when prep to pros stars like Kobe,KG & TMac were immediate all stars,had major endorsement deals,global icons and were among the nba best players..So it was kind of understandable for people to get excited and maybe expects alot from a high schooler like Stevenson,who comes along with amazing athlete skills,a great defender,amazing dunker and had very good 1 on 1 skills..
Right now, Stevenson is still 1 of the best defenders in the nba and better shooters..But he never had anyone learn him to play the game the right way…And he didnt have the mindset of a superstar..He thought his talent would remain at the same level he was at when he was in high school, dominating his competition….Thats the difference from him and a guy like Wade that had that determination to become better..If they had to chose between Wade coming out of high school or Stevenson high school career..It would be a no-brainer..Wade wouldnt got drafted…But he had a much better mindset then Stevenson…

Grant hill pre-injury was one of the most athletic players I have seen Luol Deng didnt even come close… I would say he was as athletic as TMac in his prime…
