    Traded for Nik Stauskas, Wade Baldwin, and two future 2nds.

    Good fit for Portland, they can slide him in at the 3 and move Harkless to the bench. I wanted them to go for T Ross, but this works and they didn’t have to give up much in terms of depth to get him.

     Nice move. Go in for this season, didnt give up much. Also good for Cleveland to get some assets

    They didn’t give up too much. Figured other teams (like Detroit) could have put together a better package.

      They probably could have offered better but Rodney Hood had veto rights and he wanted a roll on a play off team.

     I read the Cavs valued Hood and were holding out for a good offer.

    They basically got nothing back as far as getting an NBA starter or contributor.  Second rounders hardly ever work out and cleveland aren’t good at drafting – Anthony bennett, waiters, tristian thompson.

    Good pickup for Portland, give them some extra scoring punch off the bench.

    I feel sorry for Nik Stauskis. He is like the little, fat, ugly kid going to a school dance – nobody wants him !!

    Hood is an overrated chucker. We seem to have good chemistry with misfits, cuz I’m not sure if he’s good in the locker room haha.

       I thought with evan Turner and Aminu they aren’t great scorers.

      Rodney Hood will prob get a few 20+ point games for every 2 x 3/14 shooting games he has…

       I think Hood is one of the most overrated players in the league… He just has a 20 pts game once in a while and does nothing else other than scoring…

     I wonder what kind of minutes he’ll get the rest of the way with Portland. I’m guessing about 15-20 off the bench.

    Harkless and Turner are kinda similar players that he has the opportunity to beat out, however.

    A great move for Portland! Turned two non-rotation players and two 2something year future players into a guy who can help us now. He is instantly our best scoring wing even if his defense leaves something to be desired. Now if we turn Moe Harkless and a first rounder into Nikola Mirotic, we’re a contending team this season.

    Not to mention that there would be ~$29 million worth in expiring contracts in the next season for Portland which would be available for a lucrative deadline deal at the very least. What a time to be a Blazer fan!
