valentineWhat teams would most and least want to play for? Not exactly based on roster per say but based on the organizations and how they run things, and the location and all that comes with it
Top
5. Golden State: I’ll jump on the bandwagon, their front office is pretty good now, but the biggest selling point for me is their die hard passionate fans. I hope when they move to San Fran their new arena still has that energy.
4. Los Angeles LAKERS: LA will always be a Laker town, hell LA would be a Dodgers, Rams, LA Kings or even Angels twon before embarcing the Clips. LA probably has the most fan interest in basketball of any city, besides maybe NY. LA has perfect weather, you get to be a celeb in hollywood playing in front of the celebs sounds fun to me. You’re quicker to draw interest from shoe endorsements and others
3. Memphis: I grew up close to Memphis so their my squad, and I like being in the southeast. Fans may not be the most die hard or knowledgeable about basketball (football is god lol) but they do sure as hell get rowdy. Plus no state income tax is key.
2. San Antonio: May not be a better front office in all of sports, first class all the way. Best coach in the game, they get the most out of you. If you wanna win you go here. No state income tax, fans have a lot of passion, only team in town so you are beloved. And despite what Barkley says, San Antonio has some beautiful women.
1. Miami: Again no state income tax is so so nice. Another top notch organization, they always strive to win. What do I need to say about the city of Miami? Weather, beaches, women, night life. You’re on vaction year round! Miami fans can be shady but you won’t have to worry about being scrutinized unfairly.
Bottom:
5: Detroit: I just don’t wanna live in Detroit, Robocop is looking more realistic.
4: Milwaukee: Do fans even care? Outside of beer, Wisconsin badgers, and the Packers, I don’t think the people really care. I’m sure they’d be willing to trade their NBA team for a NHL team. Plus it’s cold as hell.
3: New York: Worst owner in all of sports possibly. Front office is a joke. They are the opposite of stable. The media is crazy, they’re on you like wild animals, any mistake and you are scruitinized like you commited a crime. They expect and demand perfection. Playing in MSG would be dope, but not worth it.
2: Sacramento: The kings owner and front office makes the Knicks look good lol. If the Spurs are winners, the Kings are losers. They do have good fans, and I feel bad for them, but playing for Sacramento you must lose all hope. Maybe the biggest laughing in stock. Plus Cousins is crazy and seems like he would always be pissy at you or anything. Plus I don’t wanna play for 3 head coaches in one season.
1. Toronto: I just don’t want to leave America. Candada is fun to visit in the summer and has great sports fans, but I just need my American culture. Gotta wory about visa, different dollar system, just a lot of differences, and yea super cold. No disrespect, it’s nice, I just can’t leave USA lol

1. Miami-Favorite team, D-Wade, Pat riley, the city itself. Great organization and great place too.
2. Dallas- Great coaching and it is run by one of the best owners in the NBA by Mark Cuban, who is as passionate for the game as anyone else and Dirk as well.
3. San Antonio- Great organization and fans as well as great culture too. Great team as well.
4. Golden State- Best team and Best fans that will compete for years to come.
5. Phoenix- Best medical staff in the NBA and can help extend your career.
Bottom
1. Philadelphia- I just don’t see myself playing for a team committed to losing.
2. Sacramento-F.O is very unstable as well as coaching.
3. Cleveland- In the wise words of Joakim Noah, "What’s so great about Cleveland?".Good team, terrible city.
4. Minnesota- Not used to the cold weather despite them having a great team.
5. New York- Terrible owner, too many critics and cold city as well.

festar35ParticipantI will go with 3 and 3, as not sure I feel strongly enough about other franchises to pick 10 total.
Top:
#1: Indiana Pacers – I have been a fan since 2000 and barring a couple of years they have always had a competitive team. Indiana is a state that loves it’s basketball and to me that is fantastic. I’m also not a big city kind of person, I like the more laid back approach.
#2: San Antonio Spurs – Again a city where basketball is king and their team is just as good every year. They are a small city which I like, but again have one hell of a history and winning means a lot.
#3: Portland Trail Blazers – The fans in Portland are fantastic and the fact that the Blazers are their main stay professional sports franchise means that it isn’t going to change. They are another small, but successful organisation none the less like the other 2 above.
Honorable Mention: Dallas Mavericks – Cuban is entertaining and want to win.
Bottom:
#1: Brooklyn Nets – I hope that Sean Marks can turn things around, but man this franchise has not been good and made a lot of bad moves. I can appreciate that they did them trying to build a winning team but they rushed it and didn’t seem to use there heads in these selections.
#2: Los Angeles Clippers – Even when the Clippers get all the talent they appear to need, things seem to go wrong at the worst times. They don’t get just are not a franchise that you associate success with and being the little brother to Lakers doesn’t help sell the idea of the Clippers either.
#3: Philadelphia 76ers – I know they have had past success, but that was generally due to one player being better than the rest. I can’t really think of a lot of times where they have built good teams that fit together and work well. At the moment I really don’t know what they are up to and I really think that they need to use some of that young talent to get some veteran leadership to show them how it is done, somethings need to be taught and other players are the best to do this.

1.New York. Who doesn’t want to pay/live in NYC in MSG? The Knicks are going to get better.
2.GSW. Great team, great chemistry, amazing fan base. Not a bad place to live
3.Lakers. Similar to Knicks but I think they’re a bigger mess(FO wise)
4.Philly. Big market. Decent fan base for the past few years. And about to start winning as they get talent infusion.
4 Worst
1.Sacramento. A complete disaster on and off the court. Vivek, Vlade, Boogie, and whoever their coach is on any given day
2.Brooklyn. It’s in NYC, but they’re a horrible team and not in a spot to improve anytime soon with theod
traded picks
3.Toronto. Outside the USA
4.New Orleans. Small market, oddly fit team, weak FO

llperezI don’t mix with cold weather so my least desired locations would be:
1-Toronto
2-Detroit
3-Milwaukee
4-Chicago
5-clevlandI’ll give New York, Boston, Brooklyn and minny a bit of a pass because they seem like cities with lots to do.
My preferred spots would be
1-lakers
2-warriors
3-Sacramento
4-Portland
5-PhoenixI didn’t choose the Florida teams because I have multiple friends who have visited Miami and Disney world and other parts of Florida and they all say the humidity is unbearable.
A week ago msn.com had an article in best weather counties in the USA and my Ventura county was #1. I’m all about the weather.

1. Phoenix – There’s a reason I recently moved out here, I love it out in Phoenix and Arizona. Cmoing from the southeast where it’s gawddamn humid the dry heat out here is lovely. I’ve always liked the Suns and their teams. It’s a good city but not crazy.
2. Dallas – Cuban is the best owner and takes care of his players with great facilties. Texas has no state income tax which is good. Dallas has plenty to do along with Ft Worth/Arlington and Austin right by.
3. San Antonio – Best coach and front office possibly in all of sports. Seems like they get the most out of you, you play within a team structure, the ball moves, everyone gets shots, they aren’t beholded to serving one player. Again back in Texas with no state income tax is always a plus.
4. Charlotte – Charlotte is my favorite city in the south, the humidity isn’t out of control like it is further south. North Carolina is a big basketball state, the state itself is nice with beautiful nearby small cities like Asheville and Willmington. Clifford is a great coach and Jordan being the owner would be cool.
5. Utah – SLC and the state of Utah is underrated. It reminds me a little bit of Arizona but with colder weather. Their fans are just as rabid and passionate as any other NBA fanbase. Not under any harsh critisim from the national media being in Utah.
– Big cities like NY, LA, MIA would also be appealing. I would love to play in MSG as the home team and feel the buzz and excitement as a player.
Least Desired
1. Detroit – This city looks like a wasteland, seriously. Cold weather and just not a fan of Michigan or a state and city with such terrible econimics and quickly dying.
2. Toronto – Like others, not fan of frigid cold weather, plus I wouldn’t want to have to adjust to life in Canada with different culture, ecomincs and everything. Too much of a burdon.
3. Boston – The people of Boston are…..well, jerks. Their accents and just their attitudes are so obnoxious and very unpleasent people. I feel like half the city is filled with drunks. They always complain about something and seemingly are never happy and they have such a belief their city is better than anywhere else. Plus who want this crazy Celtics fan that post on here as a fan? lol
4. Chicago – Probably the most unsafe place to live, lot of crime and their economy is struggling. It’s called the windy city for a reason, and is super super cold. Plus it seems like unless the Bulls are a title contender the team is 4th in the city behind the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears. Plus, Cubs fans are so gawdamn obnoxious. Chill out.
5. Atlanta – A lot of people here are transits and the locals only really care about college sports and not pro’s nearly as much, so their isn’t a lot of fan support. Plus ATL is overrated, it’s not a nice as it used to be, pretty sketchy and it’s actually kinda trashy. There’s a reason why the Braves are building their new stadium outside of Atlanta. Also, traffic here is horrible, I know all cities are like this but theirs is worst than it should be for a city it’s size.
