Now Im sure everyone in this forum would choose Wembanyama me included and if not, get out (jk) But anyways, would you choose alongside Wembanyama. And if not Wembanyama, which 2 and why?

If this is realistically, without trades my dream draft would be atm Jordan Hawkins and Emoni Bates. With trades, I’d hope to trade back for 2 extra picks and land Brandin Podziemski and Tristan Vukcevic along with picking up Bates. This is as a Lakers fan who has no chance at getting Wemby anyways. If you mean if the Lakers can pick any 2 players from the draft as if the had the top 2 picks, the answer should almost always be Wemby and Scoot regardless of team. Of course, that’s the answer Wemby and Scoot. But who I’d realistically like the Lakers to draft would depend on scenario.

I’d like the Hawks to trade Trae to the Rockets and move up to #4 and take Amen Thompson (maybe snag Eason along the way), and take Jett Howard with the #14. Second rounder would be someone like Sanogo. The current team construction is really caught in a rut and could use a reset around a switching system with Yek, AJG, and Dejounte if he resigns at a reasonable number. This would also fix some problems for Rockets (shooting, playmaking, youth development) while causing others (Trae is not helping that culture).

I’m happy we have got BEal but its a matter of him and KD staying sound. Also increases the window to contend beyond the peak years KD has left.

Wizards would likely have wanted some picks for Beal but with Phoenix having gone all in on KD trade and if Beal was only prepared to go to Suns if he exercised his NTC their hands may have been tied and them left with owing Brad $200 plus million over next 4 years. They create a lot of salary space and hit rebuild button. I assume Porz looks to get onto a contender or he moves on next summer if he takes up player option. They have 8th pick this year and take BPA and start rebuild from there.
