RUDEBOY_ParticipantI’ve heard some players say that John Stockton was a dirty player…
Frank Brickowski played dirty…Rick MaHorn was another guy that was dirty….

Brew Meister SmithParticipantIf a great player helps make his team mates better, then a really dirty player would make his team mates dirtier – Isiah Thomas made sure the Pistons were the dirtiest team in history.

kingofbumsParticipantbruce bowen for sure…i used to get scared watching him play against my favourite players lol and prob vernon maxwell…kenny smith said the guy swung at jordan cuz jordan scored too easily on him lmao.
if we talk about players in the game today…i have to go with KG…i love him but recently hes just been going a bit overboard with some of the stuff. oh yeah MWP who can forget that guy when you talk about dirty players

Brew Meister SmithParticipantLarry Bird had no quams taking someone out. He just didn’t have to rely on it most of the time like some other players who made their living that way.

SiggyParticipantLaimbeer and Karl Malone would be at the top of my list.
Laimbeer has already been covered in this thread, but Malone was just a nasty SOB. He’d throw elbows just about every possession, cheapshots galore, flying knees on drives to the hoop, kicking people in the balls on fadeaway jumpers, dirty screens, etc. He didn’t just use his physicality to gain an advantage. He went out to hurt people and did: see Nash, Isiah, David Robinson, etc. At least 2-3 guys needed reconstructive surgery for their faces because of Malone’s intentional elbows.
Underrated dirty players not mentioned yet in this thread: Kenyon Martin, Danny Fortson, Xavier McDaniel

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSiggy named some guys that i had forgotten about like the 6’6 or 6’8 Danny Fortson, he played center at times when there were legit true centers still playing like Ewing,Olajuwon,Robinson and Shaq ….He was undersized but he was built like Tony Atlas..Fortson,Kenyon Martin and Nick Van Exel those guys from Cincinnati played with attitudes…..
Xavier McDaniels was kind of dirty,i remember watching him Choking Wesley Matthews dad Wes Matthews…
The late Maurice Lucas was considered a dirty player…

OaktownWarriorsParticipantJohn Stockton was a very dirty player. And I never noticed it until I say him play in person. Ever time he was setting picks or just moving…elbow shots every time. Right now…World Peace, Matt Barnes, Tony Allen. I think World Peace shouldn’t even be in the league, just too many dirty plays..the dude ran into the stands to punch a fan!!!

goat27ParticipantTotally agree with whoever said Kobe. He is constantly throwing elbows. I can’t believe no one has mentioned Michael Jordan.

BenchWarmerParticipantChris Kaman with the mullet thing was absolutely filthy haha but in the 70’s and 80’s there was a lot of dirty players. My top 3 would be Rodman, Artest, and Bowen. Dennis takes first because he kicked a ref in the nuts, Artest is 2nd cause his attack on fans, and Bowen for his flying karate kick. Haha also Xavier McDaniel was pretty dirty

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSome of the older players say Mark Eaton was a nice guy off the court..But on the court they said he was dirty, mean and nasty…They hated his unusual style of play…
