Rainier Beach hasn't capture a WIAA Class 3A state championship since their fourth in five years in 2015-16.
This season, the Vikings have the personnel to reach those heights again, behind a talented blend of incoming transfers and returning contributors from last season.
Kemp and Beauchamp from divisional rival Garfield are the biggest two additions of the offseason, combining with key returners Curtis and Monroe to form a strong core.
The Vikings schedule will be highlighted by a trip to the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in mid-January, putting their talented group to the test against the nation's best.
This ultra-deep group will have a very strong opportunity to return to their thrown as Washington Class 3A state champions, with hopes to their second invitation to GEICO Nationals in March.
