GLADSTONE — Louisville coach Rick Pitino was on hand to see Gill St. Bernard's guard Tyus Battle as the No. 14 Knights defeated Montgomery on Thursday night. Battle, who had 15 points in the 72-36 victory, is the No. 15 recruit in the class of 2016 per ESPN and the defending Somerset County Player of the Year, is currently considering 11 schools — Louisville, UConn, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Syracuse, Villanova and Virginia. Battle made his season debut on Jan. 31 after missing the first six weeks of the season with a stress fracture in his foot.
According to Montgomery's radio station MIRE, assistants from Notre Dame and Villanova were on hand to see Battle as well.
