Roselle Catholic (Newark, N.J.) and NJ Playaz star Isaiah Briscoe is the No. 15 recruit in the country.
Kentucky signee Isaiah Briscoe scored 23 points, including a 9-of-9 performance at the line, as No. 5 Roselle (N.J.). Catholic improved to 4-0 with a 71-55 win against The Haverford (Pa.) School on Sunday at the Slam Dunk to the Beach boys basketball event at Cape Henlopen High.
Roselle Catholic trailed 15-14 after one quarter, but outscored the Fords (5-4) 37-22 over the next two periods to pull away.
Monmouth signee Pierre Sarr added 12 points for the Lions, who will take on Gonzaga College High of Washington, D.C., at 6 p.m. Monday.

Briscoe created the two most memorable moments of the day. His pass off the backboard set up teammate Chris Silva for a fast-break flush early in the fourth quarter, bringing the crowd to its feet. He gave the fans another thrill with a steal and thunderous one-hand jam.
“You’ve got to have some fun, man,” Roselle Catholic coach Dave Boff said. “I mean, it’s high school basketball and when push comes to shove, these are kids playing a game and it's supposed to be fun. At the level we're at, sometimes the fun gets sucked out of it by a bunch of things, and when they have the opportunity to enjoy themselves and be kids, I hope that they do that and I expect them to have fun.”
Up-and-coming Cameron Reddish put together an impressive performance with 25 points for Haverford. The 6-6 freshman hit 9 of 13 from the field, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range.
“Absolutely, [Reddish] is special,” Haverford coach Henry Fairfax said. “He’s a prodigious talent and a great kid, first and foremost. A solid student and an outstanding athlete, and that’s something we are really proud of at Haverford School. We’re excited to have him for another couple of years.”
Haverford faces another tough task in its Slam Dunk finale against No. 17 Our Savior New American of Centereach, N.Y., at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Our Savior is coming off a victory in the National Division of the Chick-fil-A Classic earlier this week.
