Strengths: Tremendous athleticism, takes long strides, can run the floor and score in transition in a variety of ways … Explosive off the floor, can get to the rim in the half court off the bounce, above average first step … Great character, well spoken, carries a 4.0 GPA according to his dad. … Extremely aggressive offensively and can handle the ball well for a wing player …  Plays with a passion and visibly enjoys the game … Versatile defensively, can guard shooting guards, small forwards and power forwards.

Weaknesses: Slightly unorthodox release on his jump shot, similar to Arizona sophomore Marcus Williams … Still an inconsistent shooter from beyond the arc, but better than … Jefferson when he first arrived at Arizona … Must improve defensive rebounding and defensive fundamentals … Has the ability to be a good defender with long arms, but showed laziness defending at the AAU level … Like most high school wing players, needs to gain at least 20 pounds of muscle in the weight room … Decision making ability could use improvement although he has the capabilities of being a smart basketball player, he tended to force too many outside shots even when they werent falling.
