6 - Paul Lacombe

Strengths: Big, athletic combo guard who excels at driving and dishing … An above average athlete with a big wingspan … Has an American style of game as he is able to create for himself and for others … Owns a strong crossover and behind the back dribble, uses both moves in transition and in the half court to get to the hole … An efficent free throw shooter as he shows good follow through in his jumper … Can shoot 3’s from NBA range and has the ability to create and hit the midrange shot … Was the second leading scorer on the French under-20 team that won the FIBA Euro Championship this summer in Zadar, Croatia …
Weaknesses: Despite having a great ability to get to the hole, he is extremely right hand dominant … He has the ability to take a dribble or two with his left hand but is unable to use it to get anywhere or make plays … His left hand dribbling still has room for improvement … Needs to add strength to his frame… When he misses, he tends to be short on his jumper… Has a combo guard mindset, but needs to prove that he has the ability to run a team … Likely to have difficulties on the defensive side guarding NBA 2 guards … The big European combo guards have not fared very well in recent years …
