Team USA invited 35 of the top high school prospects from across the country to Colorado Springs for the U18 National Team tryouts, with 32 players ultimately attending camp to compete for 12 roster spots. Over nearly a week of practices and live play, prospects battled through three rounds of cuts before the final roster was selected to represent Team USA at the FIBA AmeriCup being held in León, Mexico, June 1-7.

The camp provided an excellent opportunity to evaluate some of the nation’s top players from the 2026 and 2027 classes in a highly competitive setting. Several players elevated their stock with standout performances, while others showcased long-term upside despite falling short of the final roster. Below is a full breakdown of the final roster selections and camp cuts.

Final Roster:

Bruce Branch III 6’7, 195, SF – Prolific Prep (BYU) 2026

Bruce is a long, lanky athlete with tremendous upside and a well-rounded game. He scored the ball from all three levels and showed a strong enough handle to run the offense at times. As a reclass into the 2026 class, he has one of the highest ceilings among the first-time national team members at camp.

Quentin Coleman 6’4, 170, SG – Principia (Illinois)

Coleman is a crafty, high-level guard who is always looking to push the pace and make plays. He frequently generated his own offense while also finding teammates for easy scoring opportunities. As a proactive defender, he disrupted opposing offenses and forced numerous turnovers throughout the week.

Adan Diggs 6’4, 175, SG – Millennium (Uncommitted) 2027

Diggs (pictured) possesses good size for a guard and the versatility to play both on and off the ball. He is a natural scorer at all three levels and consistently applies pressure to opposing defenses, finding success in a variety of ways. His smooth, well-rounded game on both ends of the floor stood out during minicamp.

Caleb Gaskins 6’8, 208, PF – Columbus (Miami) 2026

Gaskins is a Team USA regular and was perhaps the biggest winner on the U18 roster. He is a versatile big man with tremendous size and strength who impacts the game in multiple ways. Gaskins played inside effectively while also showing the skill set to stretch the floor with a knockdown jumper and solid ball-handling ability. As a physical defender, he competed on the glass and pushed the pace in transition, creating opportunities for himself and teammates.

DeMarcus Henry 6’7, 180, SF – AZ Compass (Uncommitted) 2027

Henry is an elite, versatile athlete who stood out all week. He combines his athleticism with a natural skill set, allowing him to consistently get to his spots offensively. As a top-three player in the 2027 class, Henry impressed on both ends of the floor with his size, upside, and production. He scored from multiple areas, frequently finished above the rim, and defended several positions effectively.

Jasiah Jervis 6’5, 190, SG – Archbishop Stepinac (Michigan State) 2026

Jervis is a pure scorer who looks to get shots up in bunches. He scored from all three levels and showcased a smooth, knockdown jumper from the perimeter. He defended well and demonstrated the ability to create space and score for himself while also generating opportunities for teammates. His size allowed him to cover multiple positions defensively.

Malachi Jordan 6’5, 180, SF – Dream City Christian (Uncommitted) 2027

Jordan showcased a diverse skill set throughout the week, but his energy and motor truly stood out. He embraced defensive assignments and matched up against a variety of opponents throughout camp. In addition, he displayed scoring ability and knocked down perimeter shots consistently.

Taylen Kinney 6’2, 176, PG – OTE (Kansas) 2026

Kinney is a high-level lead guard with a tight handle and elite athleticism. He has a knockdown shot but consistently gets into the paint for easy baskets. He runs the offense at a high level, displaying strong basketball IQ as an elite passer. Kinney regularly finished at and above the rim throughout the week.

Colben Landrew 6’5, 210, SF – Wheeler (UConn) 2026

Landrew was one of the most versatile players in Colorado, showcasing a well-rounded skill set. A capable defender, he used his size and strength effectively against bigger opponents while relying on his speed and length to defend guards. He demonstrated the ability to facilitate offense with the ball in his hands and scored efficiently from all three levels, including as a catch-and-shoot threat from deep.

Ethan Taylor 6’10, 230, C – Link Academy (Michigan State) 2026

Taylor continued to impress with Team USA in Colorado, establishing himself as one of the top big men at camp. He possesses exceptional length and mobility, making him an elite defensive presence. Taylor consistently altered shots, rebounded effectively on both ends, ran the floor well, and proved to be a reliable lob threat during live play.

Darius Wabbington 6’10, 225, C – Sunnyslope (Uncommitted) 2027

Wabbington had a tremendous week in the paint and helped set the tone early. A big-bodied bruiser, Darius plays with poise and soft touch around the basket. He rebounded effectively and consistently made his presence felt. His offensive versatility stood out, as he scored on post-ups, roll finishes, and even stepped outside to knock down perimeter shots.

Davion Thompson 6’1, 175, PG – Link Academy (Uncommitted) 2027

Thompson showcased a variety of skills throughout the week, both on and off the ball. He handled the ball effectively, willingly moved it, and consistently made strong decisions offensively. His shooting ability stood out, as he knocked down shots from all three levels and kept defenses honest throughout camp.

Last Cuts:

Davion Adkins 6’9, 202, PF – Prolific Prep (Kansas) 2026

Adkins showcased elite versatility, high-level athleticism, and significant long-term upside in Colorado. At 6’9, he demonstrated the ability to operate in different areas of the floor while defending multiple positions. He used his athleticism effectively on the glass and consistently finished at and above the rim throughout the week.

Bo Ogden 6’5, 185, SG – Westlake (Texas) 2026

Ogden distinguished himself in Colorado as the only player invited to camp with a Team USA gold medal already on his résumé. His strong, physical frame allowed him to score from all three levels and absorb contact effectively. With solid ball-handling ability, he regularly got downhill and into the paint, while his consistent perimeter shooting kept defenses honest.

2nd Cuts:

Reese Alston 6’1, 170, PG – Second Baptist (Uncommitted) 2027

Alston displayed good size for a lead guard, along with elite speed and exceptional ball-handling ability. He consistently got to his spots on the floor and scored at all three levels. Utilizing his physical tools and basketball IQ, he made plays on both ends and routinely created easy scoring opportunities for teammates.

Josh Irving 6’10, 200, C – Pasadena (Texas A&M) 2026

Irving was one of the bigger players in Colorado and used his physical tools effectively on both ends of the floor. With elite length, he produced offensively while consistently impacting opposing offenses defensively. His size and mobility enabled him to defend multiple areas and compete effectively on the glass.

J’Lon Lyons 6’0, 165, PG – Grace Brethren Christian (Uncommitted) 2027

Despite being one of the smaller players at camp, Lyons showcased impressive two-way ability. He possesses a quick first step and a tight handle, allowing him to consistently get to his spots. He scored from all three levels and defended with purpose at the point of attack.

Baba Oladotun 6’10, 200, PF – Hubert Blake (Maryland) 2026

Oladotun is a tall, lanky athlete with significant upside. As a reclass prospect, he was one of the younger players in the 2026 class this season. He possesses impressive size and the ability to stretch the floor with a smooth offensive game, including a reliable perimeter shot.

Tarris Bouie 6’6, 180, SF – Spire Academy (Alabama) 2026

Bouie displayed several intriguing intangibles throughout the week in Colorado. He is a long, athletic wing who scores effectively in transition and runs the floor well. Defensively, he used his length to guard and compete against multiple positions.

First Cuts:

Kevin Savage 5’11, 160, PG – Wheeler (Uncommitted) 2027

Savage was an impressive lead guard who effectively directed his team’s offense. He possesses tight ball-handling ability and a quick first step, allowing him to consistently penetrate defenses. He scored from multiple spots on the floor and demonstrated a reliable perimeter jumper.

Joshua Tyson 6’2, 170, PG – Lakota West (Uncommitted) 2027

Tyson showed strong instincts as a lead guard, consistently pushing the pace and finding teammates in favorable positions. He defended well and relied on solid feel and awareness on that end. His size and length from the point guard spot made him a difficult matchup defensively.

Kevin Thomas 6’6, 185, SF – The Sagemont School (UNC) 2026

Thomas possesses impressive size for a wing along with above-average athleticism. He moves well in the open floor and demonstrated the ability to guard multiple positions. His physical tools allowed him to compete effectively on both ends and contribute on the glass.

Anthony Thompson 6’8, 200, SF – Western Reserve Academy (Ohio State) 2026

Thompson is a five-star prospect ranked among the top 15 players in the senior class. He possesses tremendous size and displayed the ability to knock down perimeter shots. He consistently pressured defenses and looked to attack the basket.

Dhani Miller 6’3, 180, SG – Montverde (Kent State) 2026

Miller is a high-energy player with a relentless motor. He was constantly active throughout camp and showcased his versatility. He defended effectively from the guard position and demonstrated the ability to compete around the rim on both ends of the floor.

Moussa Kamissoko 6’8, 180, SF – Long Island Lutheran (Uncommitted) 2027

Kamissoko is an elite athlete who uses his physical gifts effectively on both ends of the floor. He played with purpose and consistently impacted plays during his time in Colorado. His athleticism allowed him to defend bigger players in the paint while also staying in front of guards on switches.

Jaydn Jenkins 6’9, 200, C – Archbishop Wood (Uncommitted) 2027

Jenkins is a long athlete with considerable upside entering his senior season. He runs the floor fluidly, competes in the paint, and uses his physical tools effectively. He consistently made plays on both ends of the floor.

Ahmad Hudson 6’7, 225, PF – Ruston (LSU) 2027

Hudson was arguably the best pure athlete at camp. Ranked among the top 25 players in his class and also the nation’s top tight end prospect, his athleticism provides tremendous versatility. With a powerful frame, he consistently embraced contact, rebounded well, and made his presence felt in multiple areas of the floor.

Sam Funches 6’10, 210, C – Germantown (Gonzaga) 2026

Funches is a big, long athlete with a good feel for the game. He runs the floor effectively, protects the paint with purpose, and displayed soft touch around the basket. He rebounded well while competing against multiple defenders.

Jaxson Davis 6’0, 165, PG – Warren Township (Uncommitted) 2027

Davis is a skilled lead guard who consistently got into the paint. He demonstrated quick ball-handling ability and a polished dribble package while creating scoring opportunities for both himself and teammates.

Chase Branham 6’4, 170, CG – Logan-Rogersville (Indiana) 2027

Branham is a talented scoring guard who made plays both on and off the ball. He moved well without the basketball and consistently found open spots for his smooth shooting stroke. He handled the ball effectively, creating easy opportunities for teammates while showcasing strong basketball IQ on both ends.

Dawson Battie 6’9, 190, PF – Saint Mark’s School (Uncommitted) 2027

Battie is a top-25 prospect in the 2027 class with considerable upside. He is a long, fluid big man who ran the floor well and finished around the basket with touch. He competed on the glass and used his size and length to defend effectively at the rim.

Scottie Adkinson 6’4, 186, SG – Webster Groves (Missouri) 2027

Adkinson is a strong, skilled guard with good size and feel for the game. He showed the ability to score at all three levels and defended effectively against multiple matchups. As a combo guard, he showcased strength and versatility both on and off the ball.
