boywonder32ParticipantFunny how you tried to clown me and my college team. But you’ve never played college ball at all.
First he says he played at Indiana North for Doug Mitchell
Then says he played at Vincennes CC after North for Dan Sparks and Everick Sullivan
Then from there he went to Indiana State to play for Royce Waltman.
FRAUD.
Dan Sparks coach Vincennes Community College for 26 years with his last year being 04-05, which has to be the year IndianaBasketball was there because that following year Everick Sullivan took over the head coaching job from 05-08. Which means IndianaBasketball only played for Everick Sullivan from 05-06 because he went to Indiana State University to play for…..
Royce Waltman who coached Indiana State University from 1997-2007, meaning Indiana Basketball had to finish up at Vincennes in 05-06 in order to play for Waltman his last year coaching at Indiana State(06-07).
But only problem is there is not one transfer from Vincennes CC on the 06-07 roster, there is a kid listed from North highschool by the name of Adam Lottino, but he never attended Vincennes CC, because he went to a D2 and then enlisted in the NAVY, before being asked to walk on at ISU.
Come clean IndianaBasketball, you’ve never played. Neg me if you have to but this guy tried to bash on me for hooping in college, and he’s been lying saying he dunked on Patrick O’Bryant and being a big time baller.
LOL

boywonder32ParticipantJust look at the coaches he said he played for and look at the years they coached at the schools he says he played for. Do the math he’s never played for ISU at least, I don’t think he’s played anywhere to be honest.

darkman97ParticipantNice job, I love when people do research to back up their topics but may I play devil advocate? But when he said Dan Sparks and Everick Sullivan, do you know if Sullivan was an assistant coach of Sparks? If so you may have to go further back to the years they were both on the bench together. Unless Sullivan was a brand new hire from a different school.
PS someone stole a watch from me back in 2001. Anyway you can help me find them? Any info would

DurantsWingspanI just don’t get why someone would do this hahahahah. Like are you kidding me? This is an internet forum. I just don’t get it, if you are going to say you played, atleast say you were someone good. Hahaha dunking on Patrick O’Bryant. That’s great. I woulda atleast said Shaq.

0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/31/2012 - 7:09pm #653843
boywonder32ParticipantEverick Sullivan took over from 05-08 after Dan Sparks resigned. And for even more proof that it was more recent than later, he claims to have played against Patrick O’Bryant who was at Bradley from 04-06.
But with that being said there’s even more fraud because how did he play against Patrick O’Bryant and Bradley from 04-06, when he was "Supposedly" at Vincennes during those years? Because he only could have played for Waltman from 06-07 but O’Bryant was already in the NBA at that time.
FRAUD

RafterParticipantI remember this one guy at 2Ksports forums, he was a real power poster, ended up with 7,000+ posts which was really impressive at the time, anyway, he claimed to be this big time player that was 6’6" and 240lbs from Boston, supposedly an MVP at some Vegas tournament but his career was sadly hampered by a torn ACL, so he’d be posting about how he was this big player blah, blah, blah, he then showed us pictures of ‘him’ a really stocky looking white guy with a hot girlfriend hmmmm.
I suspected a rat at the MVP and height and weight garbage, it would’ve be a bit more convincing if he wasn’t that active but he was, his Xbox live had a massive gamerscore and he was online all the time.
He then said he was a black 6’4" guard, then, the most shocking plot twist of all was when he created a thread entitled along the lines of ‘coming clean’ where he said everything was a joke, most of us weren’t really shocked or surprised but some were which was laughable. He then made a U-turn and said somebody hacked his account because his username was posting unsavoury images and information around the forum, even a virus link that people weren’t happy about. The Moderators had heard of this BS before and stripped him of his Mod status, yes, he was a Moderator he was chosen in place of other more deserving posters. After that, he announced he’d leave the forums and hasn’t come back since.
Obviously, this isn’t as extreme but it just goes to show that you shouldn’t take somebody’s word for it unless you follow up the investigation, particularly on the internet. I personally i don’t care if Indianabasketball is telling the truth or is lying, he’s a great poster and this kind of thing won’t make me think any less of him.

IndianaBasketballParticipantSo let me get this straight…
It’s impossible that I was recruited by one coach and played for another after that coach left for another job?
And if anybody goes back and can find the post from like two years ago, I never once wrote I tip dunked on O’Bryant during a game while at Indiana State. Have you never played in pro-am leagues, summer leagues, etc?
And you can also read posts if you can find them, that I never once wrote I was a great player. I wrote I wasn’t a great player and had knee injuries that basically destroyed my career before it got a chance to start. I got my grades, graduated and got a job. And now, I help with training, which is another way I know a lot of players in the Indianapolis area like Teague, etc.
This is the internet. Look at how you’re stalking me now… Like I’m going to release my full name to clowns like you. 95% of the people on here haven’t given their real names and that’s their right.
And read through previous posts… I’ve written about every player that I know from my area. We all grew up in the same area. Players that are older than me and younger… It’s a tight nit area. The older ones looked out after the younger ones (like Jason Gardner, Chris Thomas, etc did with me) and the younger ones looked up to the old ones.
The fact that you’ve started this thread is nothing short of comical to me… And most of all disrespectful. You’re applauding yourself for being stalkerish… I only know females that act like that.

boywonder32ParticipantYou’ve never played period.
And you played against Patrick O’Bryant? When? Summerleagues? Pro-AM leagues?
Would be true, but for one Patrick O’Bryant isn’t from Indiana so I doubt he’d be up there hooping just because, for two Bradley is in Illinois so he probably spent most of his college summer days up there.
So i’m curious to know where you played against him at.
And if you played at ISU why isn’t there a Vincennes CC transfer listed on the roster for any of the years you were at the school? They put everyone else’s previous school up there, but just happened to miss you right? What a kawinkydink lol

0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 7:22am #653980
IndianaBasketballParticipantYour reply just now seemed to lack the authority of your previous ones… I mean, did you think I wasn’t going to reply to this?
And let’s make this clear… You think players only go to camps, play summer ball, attend Pro-Ams in their homestate? I literally posted a roster FULL of out of state players that played in IUPUI just THIS past summer… Mario Chalmers isn’t from here… Burks from Utah isn’t from here. Jeff Green isn’t from here. What about DeMarcus Cousins or John Wall. I can go down the list of the players that have showed up to Indiana over the years to play Pro-Am ball. That list includes college, pro and overseas. And players don’t restrict their training, camps, etc to one place… They TRAVEL everywhere, especially if it’s only two-three hours away. IF you were a ball player, you’d know that. You’re clearly not too smart.
Like I said… I’ve never once said I was a great ball player. I don’t have to release my information to a stalkerish ass girl like you. What’s next? You hacking my e-mails and trying to determine where I work… Or live? Sad…
I have absolutely no shame in my hoops past. I’m not somebody stuck on past hoop dreams. I got my education, graduated, got a job and make great money… I took my hoops connections, made friends, made money, etc.
The fact you’ve taken the time to do all of this just seems scary… The fact anybody on here is applauding you is incredible.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 7:25am #653983
boywonder32ParticipantLol yea man you can keep coming up with these funny, political responses trying to get posters on your side.
But one question you can’t answer is this:
WHY ISN"T THERE A VINCENNES CC/NORTH TRANSFER ATHLETE LISTED ON THE ISU WEBSITE?????The only ones listed were Adam Lottino who did go to North, but as I stated before he never went to Vinceness CC, he went D2 and then listed in the NAVY before being asked to walk-on at ISU…story below:
http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/sports/article_bba1fb5a-7eba-5325-b6e9-4c204c96d08f.html
And the guy who is listed for Vincennes CC was from Mansfield,OH and he was a senior in 09-10.
I don’t even really care about your infamous dunk on O’Bryant anymore were talking about you as a basketball player my dude.
So when did you play? What years?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 7:26am #653984
IndianaBasketballParticipantUnfortunately, it’s not lol.I’m through with it though. This guy clearly has stalkerish issues… I’m afraid he may be able to get my IP address or something. What’s next? Scratched cars and flat tires?Talking about I need to come clean… YOU need to come out of the closet and admit you got a crush on me… Nothing against gay people, but I’ll have to pass on ya… You’ll have to find somebody else to do the sticking to ya.0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 7:29am #653986
BasketBalAllanParticipantDoes it really matter if he lied about playing against Patrick O’Bryant? Will it fulfill some empty space in your life if you can either prove he did not play college ball or out his real name when he obviously does not feel comfortable giving it out? He is one of the best posters on the site and is probably tired of being harrassed by someone who seems strangly addicted to his past. If he says he played then that is his right, even if he is just pulling it all out of his @ss it does not matter. Not everything everyone says on the internet has to be true, that is part of the allure. Let me put it this way, as sure as I can say that I am not Steve Nash I seriously doubt that your a “boy wonder”.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 7:34am #653987

Now you wanna play victim cause you got caught being a FRAUD, because you’ve never hooped anywhere but the backyards of French Lick,IN, and you want to call me stalkerish and this and that, nah son these negs or positives don’t mean shhhhiiiittt to me they have no affect on my life, I really play college ball just finished my JR year and will be a senior next year.
But you will be scarred for life because your living a lie, you WANTING to really be a hooper is real life ish, pink thumb and green thumb isn’t real life.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTotally your right to not say your name or anything like that. I understand that the internet is a f#cked up place at times. However, you dissing on homeboy’s JUCO kind of drove him to do what he did. I do not think boywonder is in the right, I think this is really immature and uncalled for. But, when you made fun of where he played, it kind of seemed like you were putting your experience and ability over his. You used that as ammo, is it uncalled for that he looked for some of his own?
In the Patrick O’Bryant post of question, you said that it was your biggest highlight of your career at ISU:
http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/whos-your-favorite-player-never-panned-out
Now, that dunk definitely could have happened while you were playing at ISU, but you mention nothing about it being in a Pro-am game. You say, "It was a big deal in the MVC", which is pretty much interpreted as happening during conference play. When you think "ISU career", you think you playing in a Sycamore uniform.
I understand that you do not want people interfering in your personal life, but I think you understand why people are interested. It is much more about curiosity of your basketball experience, regardless of how good you were, compared to trying to "stalk you". Having my full name out there may be a bad idea, but luckily not too much stalking right now.
I shot around with Aaron Brooks once at U of O. My best story is I passed it to him, he missed and said "bad pass". I rebounded it, fired a hard chest pass and he drained it. I never had the level of conditioning to be close to a D1 athlete, so I respect anyone who got close to that level. I get you not releasing your name on the internet, but I get people being interested in your experience. We consider you a good poster regardless, but when you dissed on a guys playing experience, did you not think he would want to know what made yours better?

mikeyvthedonParticipantMan, I do not think you are necessarily in the right. I for one am cool with you having played JUCO anywhere, but you were antagonistic and have dealt with this pretty awfully. You could have been the bigger person and not made 1,000 posts about this stuff. You were trolling and while it was mildly amusing at first, it went to far and it gives you little respect as a poster.
The reason people are sticking up for Indiana is that he has been an awesome poster. I cannot say I was not also interested to know more details about his college career, as I would any poster who claimed to have one, but I could care less how he played during that time. I did not agree with him calling out your JUCO, but I think you could have handled things much better. All in all, if you do not start talking about basketball in general, think people will probably stop caring about much of what you have to say. Not a hater, just calling it how I see it.

boywonder32ParticipantAnd to back up what mikeyv is saying even more, it went from me trying to piece together his "career" to see what type of numbers he put up in college because he was bashing on my numbers and school, to finding out he’s never played anywhere call it stalkerish if you want, but it is what it is.
Don’t talk the talk if you can’t walk the walk homeboy.

boywonder32ParticipantI don’t care about those pink thumbs green thumbs bro, long as I get on here and post and state my argument on certain threads thats all that matters someone will still agree, and someone will still disagree whether it shows up +/- someone will agree or disagree.People put wayyyy to much thought in those thumbs, Aran gets negged all the time you think it has any affect on him or his credibility? NO, so I could care less, im going to say what I feel regardless.
But the fact that people are saying I need to cool it or i’m taking it too far c’mon now really? He got personal with me FIRST and where i’m from when you do that it’s not all peaches and cream bra, but when I get personal on him its a problem lol I could have walked away but he got personal so I dug up some info on him that turned out to be no info at all and hey it is what it is, everyone knows now tho this dude can’t hoop a lick.

IndianaBasketballParticipantWhat’s the deal with y’all? You pull up the thread and the exact quote, and then misquote it. I never said "IT" was a big deal in the MVC… I wrote Patrick O’Bryant himself was a big deal in the MVC. I said "HE" was a big deal in the MVC. I mean, I don’t think you purposely ignored that, but damn… I never wrote that was in a game. And in that same thread, I never wrote I was a big deal. I’ve mentioned plenty of times on NBADRAFT.net that I had bad knees. I’ve written plenty of times, I got my education, grades and got a job.And look at the beginning of that Eric Gordon Adidas thread and see who started anything… He came at me first. As long as I’ve been a member on this site, I’ve never gone and attacked anybody else first with a disrespectful attitude. He came at me first and I called the JUCO he played at garbage.I don’t see how I’ve said anything contradictful. I think it’s disrespectful and F’d up that everybody is trying to team up on me because I don’t want to release my identity on the internet. Lol that’s nuts.0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 8:16am #654009
F_DA_POParticipant"IndianaBasketball" was clearly exposed here. He didn’t answer any of the OP’s questions, just avoided them and called him a "stalker" while trying to sound politcally correct. I’ve yet to see IndianaBasketball explain any of this. It’s not like he doesn’t care what some guy on the internet thinks because he’s already made like 4 long multiple paragraphs posts insulting this guy.
Pretty funny stuff. I never understood why someone would lie on the internet to make themselves cool. These are people who will you never see and have no impact on your life whatsoever.

HaleParticipantI think this is enough. Both guys are at fault, so why not just drop it? Boywonder shouldn’t have been calling out Indiana and saying his thread was stupid, and Indiana shouldn’t have dissed him saying his JUCO sucked (hell I never even played in HS). Whether Indiana played at ISU or not doesn’t really matter. The only way you can call someone out for that is if you have never lied yourself and since everyone has lied, no one call insult him for something he may or may not have lied about. He’s one of the top minds on this site, and if boywonder posts half as well as he investigates cases he’ll be a great up and coming poster himself. Let’s just leave it at that.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI still don’t see how I was exposed… Another thing is he keeps saying I went to Indiana North High School. I’ve written a couple of times that I went to North Central High School.
I’ve said a few times I wasn’t a great player and that my career was pretty much over before it started… I’ve talked about my knee issues on here openly. Whenever there’s a knee injury in the NBA, I’m the first person to comment on it just because I’ve been through it and have taken interest in it. I’ve never bragged or boasted because nothing I did playing wise was major due to injuries and poor grades to start.
I’ve said a few times that I turned my grades around, got my education, got a job, etc so I don’t really see what’s political or controversial.
And as far as players, I’ve brought up my associations with them whether it be through training, camps, etc.
This is pure comedy to me that he tried to assassinate my NBADRAFT.net character lol.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 9:23am #654041
mikeyvthedonParticipantThe, "it" mistake was not meant to say that people around the conference were talking about it. It was just saying that when he asked you the question, it seemed like your response might be something about playing for Indiana State rather than while you were at Indiana State. I never said you wrote you were a big deal. I think I pretty much clearly stated, if you were or not was not important. We just maybe wanted to know your role or stats, not to use them against you but out of curiosity.
I for one am not attacking you nor have I been. You took it that way, which is pretty much what seems to happen whenever someone disagrees with the way you go about something. I know you got hurt and I am glad you got an education. I am sure whether you think so or not, you were indeed a good basketball player to have had your education paid for. If you do not want to release your name, that is fine. But, all I was saying was that when you made the statement that another person played at a bad JUCO, you were setting your self up for inquisition.
To say you have never come at anyone hard or been the first to strike, well, I do not think that is entirely true. You did not in this case, he did come at you, but I think you made it a contest of egos once you shrugged off where he played. You can think that people are against you, but I think that you are taking this the wrong way. If you do not want to give your identity, that is fine, but if someone had said the same thing about you that you said to boywonder, would you not want to know about them? Maybe that is not how you operate, but I definitely know you used what someone found about boywonder against him.
@boywonder32:
Not caring about points is the right way to go about it. The thing is, you did this all by trolling rather than anything actually basketball related. As entertaining as this has been (it kind of has), this is a basketball forum. We talk about basketball. I tend to judge people here on there opinions and knowledge about the game.
There have been a lot of people who claim to have been great basketball players on here who are awful posters. I think while he said a few small things to make you tick, you did the same thing by offering up a comment that was not even close to constructive. I am glad you are done and I hope you talk about basketball from now on, because this whole thing went way too far and on for much too long. I place a lot of that on you for these ridiculous counter attack posts.
I hold no hard feelings and I would like to be cool with you. My ultimate hope is that you become a constructive poster. Still, I think there are two sides to every story and that neither you nor Indiana sees each others in the least. If you look at how this whole thing turned into an avalanche, you threw the first snowball that rolled down the hill (sh!t analogy, but I think you get my drift).

Obviously he doesn’t and you are desperately trying to pull in any excuse you can find, reguardless of how ridiculous it may be. I think we both know he doesn’t have a crush on you, he got pissed at you because you were being a cock d ick, and now he exposed you and all you got to say for yourself is that he had a crush on you? Then Fred would set a trap using Shaggy and Scooby as live bait (They only do this because they get scooby snacks). Seriously who risks their life for food? Well Shaggy and Scooby do thats who. Anyway Shaggy and Scooby would f*ck up the trap, but accidently catch indiana basketball. Then they would take off his mask and see who he really is. Everyone would be surprised at the culprit except for Velma. That nerd knew who indiana basketball was the whole time. Indiana basketball would get mad and say "And I would have gotten away with it if it wasnt for you meddling kids!!!!!!"

llperezmy two cents
boywonder started this by being douchey on indiana’s thread where he was simply giving a shout out to eric gordon
boywonder went to work and and probably exposed indiana for at the very least embellishing on his basketball background. I mean maybe indiana was in some way associated with those teams he claims, but was on the practice squad or didnt make the final cut or something. EIther way hes a quality poster and anyone getting all into this bs needs to chill.
But with all that said, I wish it was easy for the ball players on this site to get a run going somewhere so that we could see whats up. Im personally no longer able to keep up with real good players on the court( i dominate my co workers still though weekly), but i bet if we had a 3 point contest i would rain on all you guys college, pro whatever.

IndianaBasketballParticipantSo now I supposedly assume someone is attacking me everytime they disagree with me? Wow… There’s been plenty of disagreements with me… Just like anyone else, sometimes I come back with something and sometimes I don’t… It depends on how close I am to the situation or how I feel about it.I think this is funny coming from you, someone who can come across as being high and mighty and preachy… You’ve assumed the wrong things before and came act me incorrectly… Of course then I might get a little defensive with you.You quoted me as writing, "It was a big deal in the MVC", which was untrue. I corrected you on it because you made it sound like this happened during "conference play" which I never wrote. This is the same thing you did during a thread about Blake Griffin where you assumed just because I said Griffin was working hard, LeBron James wasn’t… Even though I mentioned LeBron’s name nowhere in the post."You better come clean…"Who the F are you? aamir543ParticipantFirst of all, I could honestly care less about where Indiana Basketball went to college, and second and more importantly, as much as we love basketball, as huge of a chunk as it is of our life, the truth is that it’s not gonna pay the bills for 99.9% of us. IB got his education and has a job. I’m sure all of us in High School or College aspire to do the same. So I think it’s rather foolish that we’re making a big deal about this. And Third, do you guys realize that this BoyWonder troll is playing us like a violin? Do you realize that every comment saying this thread is "interesting" or "entertainment" has like 10 points, and anyother post that acknoledges it as a waste of time, has probably 15 negs by now. Have you realized that Boy Wonder has at least 5 points on each post no matter how absurd it is? Let’s put this aside and do what we came here for, which is to talk ball.
And what do you guys think about the upcoming free agency? I think that a lot of GMs will give in and overpay big men like Illyasova, Hibbert, McGee(god, please don’t give a man with that IQ that much money), and the emerging Jason Thompson. Someone will give each of those guys at least 20 mil, and Hibbert and McGee will get 40 mil+. I also think that KG will stay in Beantown, but if he goes anywhere else that team will get a big boost. He can still turn the clock back pretty often like Timmy. They’re both good for an average of 15 and 9, but can give you 20 and 8 on several nights. And both of them have cranked it up as of late, adn they both still protect the rim, not as amazing as they were 5 years ago, but still very solid.

They’re the best. All of them either played are or associated w/ basketball of some form. This website should help. http://www.100percenthoops.com/about.asp
Idk what level he played @ but the isu & vincennes combo makes sense because ive seen him w/ david ragland who was an assistant w/ vinceness and now at istate. i saw him on crutches too about durin the summer so im sure the knee issues are legit. good dude regardless.

You love to throw things in other peoples face, but when it comes time to face the music you start calling people names and saying they aren’t worth your time. That is not a good way to handle disagreements. It gets less than nothing accomplished.
All I was doing was trying to show you what led to these actions. You take this as an attack. Guess that is the usual.

aamir543ParticipantOut of curiosity, did any of us history junkies out there realize that when I mentioned Muhhammed Ali in my joke that I wasn’t reffering to the legendary boxer, but rather the political figure that was the head and founder of the Muslim league and advocated for a seperate Pakistan for Muslim, and poor Gandhi gave into him and all the other guys. They say that the other guys like Nehru also slyly played games and tried to get a seperate Pakistan, but the truth was that Gandhi was the only one that wanted to keep the country together, and the others kept pressuring him, and eventually he gave in, and one misconception is that his hunger srtrikes were only to get the British out. Although that is true, his hunger strikes were when he was toward the end of the line, and he did that because of how upset he was that Muslims and Hindus were fighting. Sorry about the off-topic history lesson, lol.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTuck, think you missed the entire point of what I was saying. Want to see the exact exchange:
knicksfan7:
Tezo, serious question.
What was the biggest highlight of your career at ISU??
IndianaBasketball (who used to go by Tezo83, or ButlerBulldogs):
Easy… Tip dunk on Patrick O’Bryant, who was somewhat of a big deal in the MVC.
Yes, I wrote it down wrong. I should have written the exact quote. But, the question is more important to the context of why I did not think that answer was straight up. If you ask Jordan Crawford, "What was the biggest highlight of your career at Xavier?", and he said, "Dunking on LeBron James", that is pretty awesome.
BUT, that is not part of his career at Xavier. You would think a person would say something that happened while they were playing a game for their school. I felt it was misleading if you, even unfortunately, never got to play against Patrick O’Bryant in a MVC game. Plus, using the Boondocks as inspiration for your rant really did little for you.
When you post a lot on this site, we tend to get to know you as a person. Everyone has their limits of what they want to share and that is fine. I just know a lot of people wondered about his past with basketball and I think we would respect anything he said on the matter. If he said, "I never played a game because I got hurt", we would be cool with that.
To say, "You guys are stalking me because you want to know information about when I played in college basketball", just seems unnecessary. As preachy or high and mighty as I may think I am, I do not think I was attacking him and I also know people felt the same way as I do. We just want to know the story behind his playing days. This is not to stalk you, but because we are interested.
Just saying that so and so plays at a $hitty JUCO and than feeling he is being personally attacked just seems to be an excuse not to tell it.

MikeyV:
I think he answered that question adequately, but he’s a grown ass man and I won’t continue to come to his defense… All I’m saying is he doesn’t have ish to prove to anyone on his personal life… And if he feels that its invading his privacy then it is… You went and found a post that was made in 2010… My dude its 2012… You can very well insinuate that he meant he dunked on him in a regular season game BUT that’s not what he said… And like I said if you are going to attack a man’s character like BoyWonder did at least come with facts… Those need to be EXACT to a "T"… If you read what all BoyWonder came at him with in the beginning of this thread he has answered majority of the "Shady Facts", but clearly that’s not enough??? In order for him to prove this last fact is to give out his personal info??? smh… You don’t think that’s bugging???

DurantsWingspanHahahahah Tuck, easy there internet tough guy.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/01/2012 - 9:31pm #654238
mikeyvthedonParticipantDude, how? I admit I quoted it wrong, but it was not to attack his character. It was to say that he had claimed to do something during his "career at ISU" (that is what the question was) that was not part of his wearing a jersey for that school. I just found that weird, people usually would say something about there college teams accomplishment or something they did while playing at college.
Is it a big deal or the end of the world? No. Were my intentions to do anything close to assassinate his character? Not in the slightest. Just stating that this was written and that people just wanted to know details about his college playing career. Plus, how is he giving out personal info? His stats that are available on the internet? Or to know why there is no record of someone at that time playing for both Vincennes and Indiana State?
Yeah, that is SUPER shady on the part of the interested party. Glad you put things in place, tuck. Pick on someone saying "opsessed". I even said the guy did not have to give out any info! I just said, when you diss a guy and have given out places where you said you played, they have no right to see if that was the case? Tuck, you would do the same thing. "It’s 2012" Tuck. Seeing that you can nitpick and all.
Finding posts about someone dunking on Patrick O’Bryant are really easy. So, someone can use the information that someone "stalked" (which was what Aamir basically did to get Boywonder32’s JUCO stats), but than it is too much for them to give out that information. He could write it down if he does not want us to know. Ballpark it. The fact is, no one is stalking him and you just lack reading comprehension if you my intentions were to "attack a man’s character". But, you have everything exact I guess. To a T.

kngojcParticipantI gotta say, its probably one of my favorite things when MikeyV takes the time to write you a narrative about how wrong you are in every way while still making it seem informative and classy lol.
Honestly, I don’t see why everyone is making such a big deal out of this. Personally I’m not too big of a fan of IB but for the sole reason of his stance on Kevin Love but other than that I totally respect him and his opinion as a poster because he does have a very high basketball IQ which is kinda important for the game of basketball. So what if injuries limited him, he can still analyze a game of basketball. Ya’ll make it seem like playing in college is everything (while it is pretty cool) when in reality, would you want someone like Javale Mcgee talking basketball with you? Try talking to him about why the triangle offense works. He’d probably come up with some of the most ignorant dumb sh*t you ever heard. But he could back it up because he plays in the NBA?

karabajaParticipantlet me just start by saying that i’m a frequent viewer of the site and it’s my hands down favorite place to browse through some legitimate bball talk/debate,i don’t have time to be a frequent poster so i’ve never seen use in creating an account, but i had to voice my disbelief over the development that occured in this thread. so boywonder,he called your junior college a piece of shit,i’m not saying that he’s right to do so,but why do you care what some indiana basketball guy, that you don’t even know, thinks about your junior college? you had to publicly call him out and throw anything you could find/think of at him, starting a riot against the guy, calling him a fraud and turning everybody against him…why? to get even? to feel better about yourself? hope you had a nice trip back to elementary school…nothing personal man,but you should’ve just taken the high road,i’m assuming you’re a grown up,start acting like one. and y’all who plus one boywonder, and the rest of the mob,and negg indiana basketball…reason being that you don’t like the guy, cause he made you look ignorant at times,or you resent him for some other reason…fight your own battles, voice your own opinions, don’t just stand by and cheer them up. all you notable posters, namely rudeboy, nomoney, mcdunkin…way to just stand by and crack meaningless jokes when the guy is getting kicked while being down, nice, real class acts…keep your points, you showed your true colors here. it’s a shame jnixon wasn’t around to talk some sense and reason into y’all, unlike mikey’s attempt to be a voice of reason that failed miserably…lengthy posts that are completely unnecessary in this kind of thread, constant bickering, emphasizing the obvious and ending up taking shots at indiana…and no mikey,i don’t want to read your book reply,so don’t even bother,i’m sure you called it as you’ve seen it,i call it as i see it,so we’ll just have to disagree…i believe that your heart was in the right place, but your role in this thread was not a positive one. shout out to llperez, aamir, basketbalallan…who’ve played "the devil’s advocate",swimming upstream, not just letting the current to drag them down along with everybody else. at the end of the day, just like tuck tried to state,if this was to be a legal case, boywonder wouldn’t be able to prove anything beyond reasonable doubt,it’s basically his word against indiana’s,but no indisputable facts are presented…considering that,it’s baffling that indiana is taking all this heat. respect indiana, hang in there and don’t get downhearted by these bandwagon junkies/wannabe tough guys/attention whores…you’re a top 3 poster on this site, with a high bball iq,insightful observations and actually relevant bball info…keep it up dude, you’re a rare breed on this site. hope that these kind of threads won’t start appearing here more often, cause this is a basketball forum, not a chat room for personal rants! smh

"lengthy posts that are completely unnecessary in this kind of thread, constant bickering, emphasizing the obvious and ending up taking shots at indiana"
Lengthy post from you basically saying everyone is in the wrong and making sure to name names as to who is specifically adding to it. Tell me, how’s the view from your high and mighty horse?

NbanflguyParticipantDear, TuckI see you corrected my spelling. Thank you, but I do not need you to do that. This is an internet forum, not a college class. Now calling me out on my spelling would be a nice comeback if I was insulting your intelligence, but I was not doing that. I was actually insulting you as a person. I was insulting your personality. I was insulting your character. I was insulting you as a poster. You are the worst kind of poster. Instead of listening to another person’s view point, you just attack them for disagreeing with you. Often you sprinkle some choice words in your write ups. I have tried to tell you that it is possible to have a conversation without verbally assaulting someone, but you just can’t seem to wrap your mind around that crazy idea. O look, it looks like I did insult your intelligence. In my 20 years on earth, never once did I think I would grow up to be a garbage man, but since no one else will do it, it looks like I have to be the one to take out the trash.Sincerely,Nbanflguy0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 5:25am #654322

ProudGrandpaParticipantI miss April Fools Day and I come back and I find that IndianaBasketball has not only been called out, but he has been SUCCESSFULLY called out, judging by the points on his posts compared to the points on BoyWodner’s posts! IndianaBasketball’s sterling reputation crumbling before my very eyes!
I still believe the man and I still respect him more than just about any other damn poster on this whole damn site.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 5:52am #654333
omphalosParticipant^ That post by ProudGrandpa is everything wrong with this site; he based his entire assessment of the situation on the points allotment, when actually reading the comments would reveal that IB is more or less who he says he is, and the "case" made by boywonder is sloppy at best given that he doesn’t actually know who IB is. Oh and there’s the post made by an Indiana local which pretty much ended the debate about the veracity of IB or his connection to hoops in Indiana.
Don’t mean to feed the fire, but people really need to read more than the thumbs before making judgments.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:02am #654338
ProudGrandpaParticipantI did read parts of the posts (not all of it, that would take forever with guys writing essays the whole time) and I DO believe IB’s story and that BoyWonder’s argument is sloppy and I know that BOYWONDER MADE A THREAD SAYING HE WAS WRONG AND SHOWING ACTUAL FOOTAGE OF IB PLAYING. So, though IB may be adequately defending himself against these weak accusations, THE POINTS reveal to me that many of the other users DO NOT believe him. And that’s a shame.
So, my friend, perhaps I am one of the few who is reading what IB is posting, when others are just looking at the large positive or large negative point totals and automatically thumbing up or down to match with the majority. So, chill…
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:09am #654342
ProudGrandpaParticipantWhen I say that he has been "Successfully" called out, I mean that he successfully convinced the majority of the other users that he is right and that IB is a fraud.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:12am #654341
omphalosParticipantForgive me for interpreting this – "he has been SUCCESSFULLY called out, judging by the points on his posts compared to the points on BoyWonder’s posts!" – as you making a judgment based on the points of posts.
If you knew all those things why make that post? Points grab if I’ve ever seen one, but okay, I’ll go chill now lol.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI just wish he would have approached things differently and tried to take the high road instead of going on the defensive. It just dug into a deeper hole. I admit, my posts after my first one did not help the matter, but Indiana is not the only person who feels disrespected by a posters tone at times. Also, Grandpa, if you actually watched the footage, you probably would feel like the kid in that avatar right now.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:38am #654349
omphalosParticipant@PG; The emphasis on "successfully" was yours not mine, I was just quoting you verbatim, the latter part of the sentence is what I was referring to "judging by the points on his posts compared to the points on BoyWonder’s posts!" about making judgments based on points.
@mikeyv; I think taking the high road was no longer an option after so many people bought into boywonder’s madness, and his initial post wasn’t too defensive in tone and I thought it countered about as many of boywonder’s allegations as possible without compromising the privacy of his identity. It was only after people took his reluctance to reveal personal information as guilt that he started to get understandably frustrated and defensive, although once that line was crossed he did say some incendiary things. You two have butted heads like this before to no ill effect, I wouldn’t worry about it, you’re both still highly respected by the majority of users on here.

iguapops420ParticipantGarbage. This cat who started this thread is a child. 2 threads just to try and blast dude. Call me crazy, but it seemed to me that he attacked Indiana before Indy said anything to him. Commenting on dudes vid pumping a friend of his up should have had no need for a smart-ass douchey remark like "Whack post", especially when we’ve got a million posts about why so and so isn’t in the 2012 mock draft a month after the 2011 draft. Just seems petty to me.
I wouldn’t give my personal information out to someone who is in fact internet stalking me and quite possibly endanger myself or my family/friends. At this point it’s not even about defending Indy, but simply talking some sense into the situation. I beg, nbadraft.net friends/enemies/newbies alike, let us all allow this immature thread(and the other one wonderBOY32 started) die in peace and not rehash it over and over. IndianaBasketballParticipantDamn… My knees aren’t THAT bad! Yea, but I definitely busted my ass to get through college to keep some money. I was just blessed to have people willing to work with me and not leave me out to dry. And I did my internship with the minor league affiliate of the LA Dodgers, not the actual pro team, but a lot of their players got sent down, so it was coo. Hated every bit of working for a baseball team (basketball definitely my number one interest), but the networking was nice. Which AAU team are you playing for this summer and who do you train with?I just don’t get you dude… You steadily bring up how I wrote his JUCO was garbage, but just ignore why I wrote it. And then you’re justifying a guy’s reasoning, who doesn’t know anything about me, for digging into my past and then trying to call me a "fraud" without knowing anything about the situations surrounding me. You think me plainly writing his JUCO was garbage justifies all of this? As a level headed person, I don’t know how you’re even okay with that… You say I could’ve handled it better and not gotten defensive, but my first couple of posts weren’t defensive at all. I just don’t get you… I doubt it is, but the fact you’re excusing/ignoring so many factors makes it seem like it’s personal or something. But to each is own.Yea, it’s weird how the "mob" jumped on me and everyone I thought was coo has been making jokes, etc. I didn’t realize I had so many enemies on here, especially with the insight, etc that I try to give whenver I post. I’ll still keep posting though because it’s a solid hobby to do during some of my spare time.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 8:49am #654408
mikeyvthedonParticipantIndiana, I feel the same way about you. I saw the whole thing break down. Do you know why you said his JUCO was garbage? Was it a good reason for doing so, or was it a defense mechanism over some petty, ridiculous words? You sunk down to his level and you got sucked into the quick sand.
I am not ignoring the fact that he was wrong for saying something like "wack post" (which is, honestly what started this), but the whole "he did this just to get a rep" thing was what brought this on. As someone who knows you well from this board, I just find it hard to believe you would not just give a breakdown than back away rather than keep going on the defensive.
Will say, do not think anyone has any interest in stalking you. We just wanted to know the details of your basketball career and what made it better than his "$hitty JUCO". I posed a simple question on that original thread that I believe was respectful, Boywonder32 decided to make a personal vendetta that was not overly cool. You choose to respond to this with saying he is a stalker.
The thing is, you are in llperez’s fantasy basketball league. That may not be your name, but if it is we do not see it on any of there rosters. If you were hurt the entire time and still got a free ride, I am sorry. I think people just wanted to know more about your career. I think it would have brought more understanding and empathy rather than this ridiculous mess of a post that has everyone "choosing sides" (not quoting you, just saying I am not on either side) or hating on each other.
A.I’s thing coming from you would have been excellent and would have made everyone side with you immediately. Writing about internet stalking and everyone teaming up on you, not so much.

Ghost01ParticipantVery interesting thread, to say the least.
My take on it, is this. To reinforce what LLperez said, it is true that boywonder kind of started it by being kind of a troll on Indiana’s post about the EG video. However, the bottomline is this. If you are going to go on a sports forum with a bunch of random people from all over the world on it, and claim to be somebody, expect there to be someone who is going to look to validate your "career". Indiana, you called this dude out. Point blank. You are a great poster on this website, and always have been, but by calling him out for being a JUCO scrub, you basically initiated the fact that he decided to do some homework and attempt to find out who you really are. Can you call it "Stalker-ish", sure. But facts are facts, he brought into question what your deal was and you pretty much avoided directly explaining why the website fails to acknowledge a transfer from where you supposedly played at. Me, personally, I would go ahead and say my name if I had accomplishments. Maybe thats just me, and I respect you not wanting strangers looking into your stuff, but if you really wanted everyone on this website to shut up, you would just say here I am, this is me, shut up. It’s immature and stalker-ish to devolge this far into someone’s past, but its the internet. If you were as legit as you claim, it seems like it would be alot easier for you to show us some evidence of who you are. You are a grown man, releasing that information really can’t be that damaging, a pedophile isn’t going to show up at your door with a 6 pack anytime soon. But at the very least, you could provide some explanation for the points this guy makes, because I believe that is what is making it hard for others to believe your story.
Again, you are a great poster, and I respect you. And I personally will forget about this in about 15 minutes. But when people go this deep, the easiest way to debunk all these rumors is with clean evidence. Just sayin.

0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 10:13am #654462
aamir543ParticipantI think AI to 76ers pretty much answered the question about why there isn’t a transfer on the ISU roster, not sure what there is to argue about anymore, BoyWonder is playing us all like a violin, yet we continue to turn a blind eye to that.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 10:18am #654461
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIsn’t this a sports forum where we talk about athletes and how good they are? What’s wrong with somebody wanting to know where some of the posters played and how good they were?
We do the same amount of research of John Wall and Shabazz Muhammad and we’re praised for digging deep into their personal life and information yet if it’s done in reverse and a normal person goes through it, it’s considered stalking?
Isn’t this what sports is about? Digging deep and finding out new information about athletes? I mean, if you’re really that scared of people finding out your sports information, or in IB case, the lack thereof, then why claim you play here and there?
This isn’t going to change my opinion on his basketball knowledge because he’s not a bad poster, yet it has hurt his credibility. Him using the whole "I played at a better JUCO than you! Ha!" technique where he rubbed it in peoples face has now been murdered and a lot of us now doubt whether or not he has met Eric Gordon, whether he has spoken to Eric Gordon, whether he has met these other basketball players he said he has. Is the information he gets from "talking" to them even credible anymore?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 11:28am #654492
IndianaBasketballParticipantHere’s the issue…
He doesn’t know me. He doesn’t know my name. He doesn’t know anything about the situation involving me. So how can he aggressively make claims? How can he aggressively accuse someone of being a fraud without any information or facts from me? You can’t just build a "case" against someone and call them out because something makes sense to you. And you can’t come at someone that way and expect them to come back at you with respect. It’s one thing to "jab" each other, but it’s a completely different thing to dig deep on someone and try to question their integrity. People "jab" each other non-stop on this site. What’s new? And I poked fun about his JUCO not to say I was better than him (when have I ever portrayed myself as better than someone else on this site?), but only to jab at him like he was doing me. But digging into someone’s personal stuff and then questioning who they say they are without any real information is wrong. IF you’re going to question someone’s integrity, you better be 100% sure and have the facts.
And it’s funny to me that people consistently act like I’ve had a problem talking about me. I think I’ve been more open with my experiences, etc than MOST people on this site. The 100% Hoops website has been posted by me before on this site… It’s not new. I only stopped posting about it because Aran doesn’t like it. I’ve brought up my associations with that site, etc plenty of times on here. Not only 100% Hoops, but also St. Vincent Sports Medicine. These things are not new. The injuries, etc. Not new. The fact that people are acting like I’ve never cited my sources or how I’m affiliated with things is confusing to me. The only thing I’ve never done on here is mentioned my actual name, which 95% of people haven’t. And MikeyV says he got my name off of the fantasy league roster. I’m sure he can put two and two together and go to the 100% Hoops website and see the association with the other people on the site. IF MikeyV was THAT interested in who I was, you could’ve asked me. You’ve e-mailed my PERSONAL e-mail before. Why not do it again?
Point blank is you can’t make claims against someone without knowing their situation. He tried to air me out without one fact and failed. Failed because he tried to prove I lied about things that I NEVER claimed I’d done. I never said I averaged tons of points, won awards, etc. I never said I was a big deal. IF anybody goes back and reads anything of what I’ve ever wrote, you’d find I said the complete opposite… And that I did other things.

DurantsWingspanFckkSwagg and TOL23 summed it up perfectly. You are still a good poster Indiana, but no one is going to believe your Juco basketball career or knowing Eric Gordon anymore when you use it in an argument. I’m Jay Kaminski. Why wouldn’t you want to say your name? We’re not little kids who are going to get raped here come on.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 12:34pm #654510
kngojcParticipantHahaha okay this post has kinda gotten out of hand. Whether or not he played at a higher level than some/most of us on here is up for debate but at least he gets to do what he loves for a living right? I mean if I could get a career training athletes and working with athletes, etc. I would jump on that opportunity in a heartbeat wouldn’t all of you?
I do however think that the funniest part about this whole thing is that aamir went all OS (original stalker) on wonderchump and found him and posted that guy’s name and stats for everyone to see. Tell me that’s not almost calling out IB to show some statistics to the guy he "supposedly" called a scrub.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 12:43pm #654519
boywonder32ParticipantI been called for the thread to calm down. But as I stated and will always believe this guys timing never adds up to the days and the coaches he played for he said he graduated from ISU in 06, but Everick Sullivan first year as Head Coach at Vincennes was 05-06, which means if he was at Vincennes as he says he was playing for him then he would have been a sophomore not graduating. I don’t care anymore whether people want to admit it or not the numbers and the story not adding up either way it goes.
And also for the people saying just because his previous school doesn’t show up on the ISU website that doesn’t mean anything. Name me one school who takes people off their roster for being INJURED, not kicked off, INJURED…NONE.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 1:51pm #654560
IndianaBasketballParticipant@boywonder32
You’re working hard to put two and two together, but here’s what happens when you don’t have the actual facts to fill in the blanks.
You assumed those names I posted were just of the coaches I played for and not people/mentors that have helped me. What you don’t know is that I’ve been knowing Everick Sullivan since I was a kid due to the fact my uncle played ball against him (Sullivan went to Louisville and my uncle to Kentucky). My grades sucked in high school and without Sullivan, I don’t get into VU. He knew Sparks. I wanted to go to Wabash (where Sullivan was at during that time), but there was no space… Plus he wasn’t sure how long he’d be there and was planning on taking another job (he ended up leaving to a different JUCO in 2004-2005).
VU 03-04. VU 04-05.
ISU 05-06 and graduation Fall of 2006 (yes sir, I graduated EARLY and did my internship the second semester).
So what’s NOT adding up in your head?
And what are you not getting about "career over before it started"??? What are you not getting about training? What are you not getting about any of the facts I’ve stated??? I was a blessed dude to have good people in my life that gave me chance after chance. Like I’ve said 10 times now in this thread… Poor grades and injuries got to me early, but I was fortunate enough to have good coaches like Sparks and Waltman who kept me around regardless.
You’re so blinded by your "gotcha" moment that you’ll stoop to any lengths to get it. Thing is, you’ve FAILED misterably.

aamir543ParticipantNow I will admit that I do do my fair share of stalking, but I think Boy Wonder took it a bit too far, and the crazy part is that is that we actually CARE about this. It makes little difference to me whether Indiana went to Kentucky and was hailed as the next MJ, or if he’s some 400 pounder going all Eddy Curry on the cheesecake plopped onto the couch.
I’m too lazy and don’t care to look up if Indy is telling the truth (I believe he is telling the truth), but I’m sure someone else’ll do that for me, lol.
Let’ put this behind us and talk ball, the main board has been painstakingly slow the past couple weeks, let’s turn that around.

Tune SquadParticipantI have a suggestion just to lay everything to rest.
Indiana you are obviously comfortable with Mikey knowing who you are, so instead of posting your identity for everyone to know, why not just have a private conversation with him?
Once Mikey vouches, this is officially done, because I know nobody is going to call you both out.
I’ve said before though that this is a sports forum. The realness of this argument is pretty valid, however I think this has dragged on too long, because all sides are just not taking that extra step to finish this. Come on Indiana please for the sake of the forum we all know and love just finish this without another defensive word. You and Mike talk and he’ll finish it for you.
This shit is embarassing for everyone. We’re all grown men, I think?

M-DYMESParticipantThats fine man. I ain’t ashamed of my fondness of tree. As long as it, like many other things, is used in moderation, there is no reason 2 be ashamed. I am who I am and I do what I do. If people find it funny then all the more power 2 them, all I know is I’m having a good fu*kin time. If someone else gets a kick out of talkin bout the stuff I do, that’s awesome. Just livin my life n ain’t givin a thought less into what others think. If anyone wants to make M-DYMES stoner jokes, more power 2 em. I get a kick out of em 2 occassionally.

butidonthavemoneyThat’s a great attitude, and I would recommend that nobody takes anything said here personal. In fact, I think everybody who can take it without throwing a fit gets picked on from time to time. McPunchingBag, mikeyv, RUDEBOY, M-DYMES, The DragonBallers, etc…

mikeyvthedonParticipantMan, I just was interested to know and did not know how to address you about it. I thought what I wrote initially was low pressure and sufficient enough, than this dude went on a rant. Believe me, if you are doing well for yourself that is awesome. Think everyone was just curious to know about the circumstances and why you seemed to ignore questions asked about your career. You may not have meant to ignore them, but it happened on occasion.
The times I e-mailed you was through the fantasy basketball league. I was trying to help you out as you did not update your team. Obviously, you did not care about it very much (do not blame you, it is not for everyone), so I left you alone. I always said you did not have to answer everyone and I never told people your name.
I just kind of never knew if you were still upset over the whole Chris Paul trade fiasco thread, so I did not exactly know you would have been cool with me asking in another format. Either way, think this went on long enough and I am sure I could have handled things better. The amount of misunderstandings on these couple threads were monumental and time consuming, but I guess that is how things work on this site from time to time.

boywonder32ParticipantOk man you can now try to say you didn’t play for those coaches they were mentors or whatever the case is, fact is you never put on an ISU jersey like you CLAIMED you did. Good for you, you got ya degree, you train people or whatever it is you’ve done or do.
No Vincennes transfers on that roster period from the time you were at ISU.
No such thing as failing when you bring the truth to people’s attention, your the one who failed my brother for lying to people you don’t even know.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:51pm #654731
boywonder32ParticipantAnd last thing, because none of what you saying is adding up, why when you ragged on my JUCO and I SPECIFICALLY ASKED YOU were did you play you responded just like this:
North Central High School – Doug Mitchell
Vincennes University- Dan Sparks/Everick Sullivan
Indiana State University- Royce Waltman
Now your saying these were your mentors? lmao gimme a break.
1+1=2
2+2=4
ISU+IndianaBasketball= Never Played.
You can write ya lil sob story about my "INJURIES" and "GRADES" and have people agree with you or whatever the case is and say it prevented you from playing, but you clearly stated you played for ISU, and grades in HS don’t matter for D1 if you get your associates in JUCO.
Just admit you never played college ball at the D1 level.

When your mother walked in on you umm mid hand check or watching porn did she still love you?
Indiana lied for whatever reason but like we have all said he has been a good poster. My points have all came from jokes and gifs his came from straight up basketball knowledge.
I dont think you guys would like me any less if you found out that Im also a member of the Pound Puppies forum(aye that cartoon was dope when i was little)

chevilicousParticipantDamn my dude you just don’t let up…. We all might need some proof from you that you actually leave the house on a daily basis as you claim, because you are so caught up in some other dudes life, and the fact that somebody may or may not have lied over the internet. I’m not sure where you got the mind boggling idea that every piece of information, and everything that comes out of some1’s mouth on the web is indeed fact. If you like to be a detective so damn much why dont you go to eharmony and do some research as to why every chick out there is blonde, athletic and sport teet’s the size of dodgeballs, and just why you can’t find these kinda chicks in your neighborhood.
I don’t understand why everyone feel’s like the guy owes them an explanation. Some of ya’ll are acting like you’re his bastard child and he left you in a trash can at birth. Maybe he lied, maybe he didn’t. What impact does this exactly have on your life to post about it every 5 minutes if he did anyways? The fact that a dude said he played at a D1 school and possibly didn’t isn’t even in the realm of shit i care about on the daily.

Ghost01ParticipantI agree this probably went too far, I think what bothered most people about it is this.
No matter how little credibility boywonder has, he brought a legitimate argument, and had grounds to do so.
Indiana, instead of responding to the problem he just went the whole "No credibility/stalker/not enough facts/i never said i dunked on obryant in a MVC game" route, and that’s what made it hard for people to just say, oh yeah this is just bs.
You can say your open to talking about yourself but saying I was some former Chicago stud, who knew Jon Scheyer and Derrick Rose personally and I never quite made it and all this other crap is easy for me to do, and easy for any of us to do. If I actually was that guy, and I actually was getting called out for not being that dude, I would come up with some simple clean evidence to proving who I am. Again, I get the whole "I dont want people knowing my personal information" and such, but if you are smart, your email accounts/facebook/twitter/ etc are all properly protected from being hacked, or in the case of something like facebook, you can stop strangers from even looking at it. I’m just saying, wouldn’t it have saved you a hell of a lot of time, effort, arguments, pointless debates about Patrick O’Bryant, and much more by saying, heres my ISU bio, here it is on ESPN.com, this is me. The route you took might make perfect sense to you, and many people reading this, and I am not even doubting you are telling the whole truth. But the fact is, the way you went about it allowed for this argument to drag on because it didn’t seem legit when you just say "This guys a stalker, wtf?!?!"

0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/03/2012 - 4:36am #654798
joecheck88ParticipantLol. Walk away from the site because some people think he is lying about playing basketball. C’mon son. I wasn’t there so I don’t have the full details but here I go. Should Indiana have bashed someone’s JUCO ball, no. Did he lie about playing at Indiana State? Idk nor do I care. Should we call him crazy for lying on the Internet? Only if we call the guy that wasted his personal time searching for proof crazy as well.
IndianaBasketball is one of the true good posters on this forum. You know the BASKETBALL forum where we are supposed to be talking about basketball. Where Indiana talks about basketball and is one of the few that do. Maybe I’m getting old but I remember when we posted only basketball topics. Who cares if he did or didn’t play at ISU? I’m pretty sure everyone on this site didn’t have a basketball career that is noteworthy. That’s why we are here. To talk about a game we love but weren’t good enough to be relevant. If any of us were relevant players, we wouldn’t be talking, we would be playing.
Im done with this thread. It is everything that is wrong with this site lately.

A.I.to76ersParticipantnot doubting you play but its weird that you dont know athletes train, go to camps and play amatuer pro leagues in other cities.and that you dont think its normal for coaches to connect w/ other coaches & get players n2 schools. idk what coaches u deal w/ but thats how it is around here at least its a huge network. he said sparks & gave credit to sullivan too 4 gettin him there. gotta give u "kudos’ tho for managin to turn an entire site against a dude thats legit w/o any incrimidatin info. i disagree w/ those who say u’d get fired n a courtroom. ud actually be the top lawyer n town 2 win bogus cases.

raybeasParticipantUpon further review, it seems his goldfish just died.
I kinda figured he was full when he said Indiana North HS. I’m pretty sure there is no such place. In his rush to indict, he forgot to check his facts. He took a misinterpretation of a misunderstood comment made several years ago, and turned it into a Super Internet Conspiracy. Some (me) think IB didn’t need to respond to such childish accusations. Some think he didn’t respond the right way, either to soft, or to hard, to logical or to PC. Apparently kanyedabest (Gay fish, yo! LOL) thinks it is enough to end his life as a poster here. I hope he continues to bring the same knowledge and insight he has always brought to the forum. His (alleged) involvement with an Indy area sports clinic helps give me a look into an area where I have great interest.
*Gay fish comment was a dig at kanye from a South Park episode, not a comment by me on the posters species or sexual preferences.

moochieeParticipantQuestion: Carl Landry played ball at Vincennes University in 2003-04, have you ever mentioned being a teammate of his? I’m just jumping in and don’t know any of you that well, but it seems to me like you would have brought something as cool as that up before.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/03/2012 - 9:51am #654938
IndianaBasketballParticipantI never had any problems with him, but Carl and I were never close for some reason. We didn’t really become coo until he transfered to Purdue and became friends with one of my good friends (David Teague who went to Pike HS in Indpls).
I support him on here though and have given updates on his training (St. Vincent’s Sports Medicine) and with his injuries. I’ve always looked up to him though because he was able to get through his knee injuries (torn ACL twice and a few other injuries) and still make it in the league.

mikeyvthedonParticipantDid you play with Frantz Dorsainvil? He went to Vincennes around the time you were there and ended up going to U of O. He was a big dude, from Montreal though I believe he was of Haitian descent. Ended up trying to play football for us, with I believe limited success. Also, didn’t Shawn Marion also play at Vincennes (though obviously a long time before you were there)?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/03/2012 - 10:06am #654946
IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, big Frantz was there both years I was there. Nice guy.
And I forget what year, but Shawn Marion did play there. His jersey still hanging up in the gym.

moochieeParticipantI’ve read this whole thing and most of what your saying adds up, but just to make things clear. Did you actually play basketball at Indiana St.? The whole roster thing that wonder brings up is a fair point, because from what I can tell any player matching your description doesn’t appear on that roster. I figure that you played well at Vincennes and earned a scholarship but got injured before you could actually play any games for Indiana St. and they just honored your scholarship by letting you stay on as a trainer. Is that the jist of it?

iguapops420Participant@TOL23, it’s ok to search the history a professional athlete because that is something they sign up for when they become professional. The Spotlight. COmes with the job. Tezo didn’t sign up for that when he joined an INTERNET FORUM. This is seriously the worst thread of the year. I’m offended at this cat wonderboy for even getting this deep into things. Especially when all that happened to him was being blasted on an INTERNET FORUM.

IndianaBasketballParticipantNow, that I think back, big Franzt was abnormally big and strong. At least 6′ 9" 270 with very little body fat. I’m not surprised he tried to play football. He was actually just a fresh during my soph season, but I’d drive back from time to time during his 2nd year (VU like 30 mins from Terre Haute) and he’d be beasting. Most of the scouts were there to see him. I can’t remember the rankings from back during then, but he had some good buzz. I remember one trip back to VU and Mark Gottfried (former Alabama coach) was there and recruiting him pretty hard.
He was a real good guy though, and smart too.
